@YoungPenitent This is correct. I read it and while I wasn’t clear on the methodology (questions asked etc) it did present the perception of those surveyed. There is no reason for anyone to get bitter about that. The only way to change perception is to address it correctly, not melt down.

When I was struggling, Ortho friend threatened that those who leave are condemned 10x compared to those who never knew. Catholic priest who received my confession said- "the Lord will always be here to receive you when you return to him." One of these is the Gospel of Christ.

I agree entirely! Though it's sad is that it reflects accurately, at least in my opinion, the actual dating world but from the perspective of people wanting everyone to be traditional and nearly perfect and not understanding that we all have sins, we all have imperfections, and we all are dealing with a bunch of baggage. It's a bunch of moral grandstanding people who don't know how to learn to forgive and don't know how to actually talk with or deal with people of the opposite sex. This isn't male versus female, it's males and females of both being really crappy and not understanding how to deal with one another. It's people not understanding or not knowing how to properly interact. There is not one person in this society that is quotes unquote datable to the proper standard that everyone is demanding people be. We're dealing with a society that is almost as Morley corrupt then the Roman pagans back during the first few centuries. We have a bunch of people grandstanding Christian morality while demanding everyone be perfectly Christian and not understanding or taking in consideration the morally corrupt and defunct society that we live in and the fact that we all have pasts and things that we need to repent of and do better of. There's not one person who is morally perfect and without sin. Which means, these people need to repent, which means to turn to God, and stop what they're doing. This is going to be one of those things where people are going to have to really take in consideration where people are at now and where they're going and is going to have to be some capitulation in understanding that you're going to have to ignore people's past to a decent degree. If a man had homosexual proclivities in the past but is no longer and he's clean he has no issues with that, you women are going to have to accept that if he meets all other criteria. Maybe he was porn addicted but no longer is maybe he still has some proclivities that he's struggling through but he's struggling and not giving in, you women are going to have to deal with that. Maybe there's a woman who has a body count of 30 or 40 but she hasn't had sex legitimately in one year or two years or 3 years, you men are going to have to get the fuck over it. Maybe the woman used to be on only fans but she only ever diddled herself and she didn't engage in activities with anyone else, you men might actually have to get over that. In a current dating society people are going to have to capitulate and get over a lot of things that people have done and no one, literally not one person, is probably going to like it. But we have incredible saints that show us that repentance is possible that we can do better that we can be better and that you can be the worst person in the world and repent and become a saint! We're Orthodox Christians! We're the one Holy Catholic and Apostolic church, we have God literally guiding us to do as we need. It's about time everyone starts acting like it and stop pretending like they're morally perfect. Before I found my wife and before I found orthodoxy, I was one of the most degenerate people you could possibly be. I was not a good candidate for anyone. I was a disgusting degenerate. So this isn't me coming from any sort of high ground, is me meeting people on the level that they're at. I recognize the struggles, I recognize the problems, I recognize what it's be to be the person people don't want because of the things they have done and for other immutable characteristics that I can't control. But it's not like I had the most realistic standards or expectations either. And yet here I am, married. I found someone who cared I found someone who generally tried and put effort, and I found someone who understood where I was at and where I was going and accepted that and said that is something she's able to put up with. And that is me becoming orthodox and becoming a better person in and through christ. Now she's a baptized orthodox.
