At my home, we have: - 3 Jio SIM cards - 1 Airtel SIM card - 1 Airtel Wi-Fi connection We pay ₹1,500+ every month, nearly ₹20,000 a year, from one household. Telecom companies are incredible money making machines.

Everyone's outraged at Airtel for the hotspot thing, but nobody asks who's funding the 5G towers you're using? Airtel spent ₹43,000 crore just on spectrum. You think a ₹299 recharge is supposed to cover your entire household's internet? Come on.

Dear @airtelindia @Airtel_Presence - I beg you with folded hands, please send someone to collect your modem and router, and stop calling me again and again daily. Every day I agree for collection, every day I confirm the address, but next day same calls. It’s been going on for a month, daily ! First it took weeks for someone to shift the WiFi to new location, and that also was done wireless and not wired ( still waiting for cables connection because your team said our port is choked or something like that ) and that also wasn’t done not because I called your helpline two weeks but only after I tweeted here. And now this menace has started. Again, please collect your modem for once and stop calling me so many times. I’ll be grateful 🙏

Yes, the software is called LG OnScreen Control Plus. it runs silently in the background. it tracks which applications you use, when you use them, and how long. it phones home to LG servers. it cannot be uninstalled through normal means without leaving registry traces. gamers noticed because some anti-cheat systems flagged it as suspicious software. the monitor was getting people banned from games. now the TV side: LG also updated its webOS terms of service. if you use the AI voice features on your LG TV, the company says you may need to inform guests in your home that conversations could be recorded. not LG informing your guests. you. the homeowner. legally responsible for notifying anyone who walks into your living room that the television is listening. LG built a surveillance device. sold it to you. and made the disclosure your legal problem. so to recap what LG shipped this year: a monitor that installs tracking software on your PC without asking. a TV that records conversations in your home and requires you to warn your guests. both devices look exactly like a monitor and a TV. neither one tells you what it actually is at the point of sale. you found out when your game banned you. or when you read the terms. Credit: @GamersNexus for the discovery.

LG just got caught automatically installing adware on PCs the moment you plug in their UltraGear monitor.

Imagine paying for "Unlimited 5G" and then being told it isn't unlimited if you use your phone's hotspot. My laptop doesn't support SIM cards. The only way to get internet on it is by sharing my phone's connection. Yet Airtel/Jio says unlimited 5G doesn't apply over hotspot. Then what's the point of calling it "unlimited"? I'm not asking for anything extra. I just want to use the data I'm already paying for on my own laptop. Consumers deserve transparency, not hidden restrictions. Less competition in the telecom market shouldn't mean fewer rights for customers.

After 48 days of my Nexon EV lying in workshop, I received a WhatsApp message from Sagar Motors asking me to pay ₹3,31,896 for a battery repair. Condition of a car worth over ₹15 lacs after just 4 yrs. I chose EV to walk my talk on environment protection & cancer prevention.

Airtel is getting bashed left and right by everyone on Twitter now. It all started with mistreating and taking customers (and me) as granted. I hope now you guys understand that you should actually learn to take care of customers :)
