@LokeshPande93 @HantsPolice Just reported (online form) two wannabe Fast and Furious cars speeding into Chineham Shopping Center (20:10hrs, Sat 5th July). One car took a racing line, the wrong way around the first shopping center roundabout (narrowly avoided me). A 2nd car was intent on burning rubber

@RichAH67 @zsk I vaguely recall reading that empathy has been in decline for a while. Anecdotally, people seem oblivious to others. I'm frequently amazed when people cross the road directly into my path when I'm out running. Skiing is another disaster zone these days. And yeah, phones

I know nothing about creating Minecraft Education maps - & need to build some for a kids party. I tried python which works ok - but can’t be saved in the map so I’d have to manually run it. mcedit doesn’t work on macOS anymore & amulet runs but shows no maps. Anyone with exp?

@steven_gill Mr. Gill, it's been a while and I hope you're well. Yeah, I can see how that could be interesting/useful, but I'm not sure it'd be worth it for me. Maybe if I joined a club where a coach looked at HR and that.

Question for the runners out there... What benefit would a Strava sub give me over the free version and the stats on my Garmin Forerunner 255? The Forerunner has been a superb purchase in focusing my runs. Am I missing a trick without the Strava sub? #ukrunchat @UKRunChat

@Welsh_ish_Will @UKRunChat Thanks Ian. Yeah, I'm amazed by Garmin Connect after my old GPS watch and a year or two with a basic FitBit. The Garmin is so much better for running IMO. Hope you're doing well dude!

@5uggy @UKRunChat I’ve subscribed before and cancelled again. There’s a few good things like the matched runs, which id still like access to, but I don’t miss them enough to pay. And similarly my Garmin Connect gives me so many stats I don’t NEED anything else.

@mileswithshell @UKRunChat Appreciate that. I've been amazed at how useful the Garmin has been. Prior to that I was happy with a more basic gps watch. I'll give Fetcheveryone a look as it sounds great.

@5uggy @UKRunChat I’ve just cancelled my longstanding Strava subscription to see the difference and imo if you’ve got the Garmin data it’s not worth paying for strava. As an aside, try Fetcheveryone, who pride themselves on building everything for free which strava charges for …

@5uggy @UKRunChat I had a Strava sub for a few years but concluded last year that I didn’t really need it. If you want to spend money on a sub, I think the better subscription, IMO, is Smashrun.com. I’m a long time subscriber and the stats and historical data is excellent.
