Around 15 minutes ago there was some sort of explosion that was felt in many towns in eastern Massachusetts. It actually shook the building I am in (some others have said the same). See e.g. the replies to the post below. Haven't heard any reporting yet on what it actually was.

Star Citizen players are spending $5,000 on the Anvil Odin, a 762-meter battle cruiser that hasn’t been added to the game yet.
The ship is still in development, but players are already spending like 4 full salaries on a simple ship, they must be rich.
Star Citizen has always had expensive ships, but spending $5k on a ship that doesn’t yet exist in-game is insane.
This explains why the game’s crowdfunding campaign recently passed $1 billion, making it one of the most successful crowdfunded projects ever.

From what I'm seeing of the new Bond gameplay it all looks very on rails. "Oh, a catwalk fell down, press jump to trigger an automated cinematic jump across. Quick, get in this boat with a gun you can't manually aim. Now hold W for two minutes." Very disappointing.

Is the game perfect? No, it has its moments of coding and server nightmare.
Is it fun to play? 100%
Is it for everyone? Absolutely not.
It's a niche game for a niche player base. A player base that clearly enjoys the development enough to keep funding it.
I hope everyone goes on from this post to play a game that makes them happy.
