Key Takeaways: GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 agonist) drugs are prescription medications used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity but carry serious side effects and must only be taken under the supervision of a qualified medical specialist. In India, GLP-1 drugs can only be prescribed by endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists they cannot be purchased over the counter. Drug Controller General of India, in collaboration with State Drug Controllers, has intensified regulatory surveillance, conducting inspections and warning that non-compliance will result in licence cancellation, fines, and legal action.

I'm joining SpaceX and xAI, working closely with Elon and team to build superintelligence. Together SpaceX and xAI combine physical and digital intelligence under a leader who understands hardware at the deepest level. Add a high-agency culture with frontier-scale resources, and you get the possibility to achieve something truly unique. I’m excited to advance the fields I’ve obsessed over for years, from robotics research to building AI models on the founding teams of Mistral and TML. Both were extraordinary journeys with extraordinary people that shaped how I think about building intelligence from the ground up. Grateful for everything that brought me here and can’t wait to get started.

The Test team needs a specialist's touch, not just motivational speeches. BCCI must review if the current leadership is fit to restore India's Test fortress. The blame doesn't just rest on the field. It starts in the dressing room. #INDvSA #GambhirOut #TestCricket

3 days for a Test in India? ' Ruining the format!' 2 days for an Ashes Test in Australia? 'Thrilling pace battle!' The hypocrisy is thicker than the green grass at Perth. Funny how spin is a problem but raw pace and bounce is 'great for Test cricket'. #Ashes #Cricket #BCCI

When integrating AI into your workflow, view it as a collaborative partner. As presenting a colleague's analysis, you must fully comprehend the AI's output and be prepared to address any questions regarding its content and methodology. Use the tool, but own the outcome. #AI

WGS analysis of ~2,700 Indians (largest to date) cell.com/cell/fulltext/… @CellCellPress - Most variation traced back to a single out-of-Africa event 50,000 years ago, with subsequent gene flow from Neanderthals & Denosivans. - All had a 4th degree relative or closer within the dataset (!) - Most Indians today are enriched for genetic variation from sources similar to: Andamanese hunter-gatherers, ancient Iranian farmers, and Steppe pastoralist groups - Lots of founder events / endogamy increase homozygosity, contributing to enrichment for autosomal recessive disease - Indians have a larger burden of population-specific Neanderthal ancestry vs others, contributing to adaptation & disease (largely related to immunity)
