I'm the grandson of legal immigrants to NYC. My husband is a legal immigrant to NYC and a longtime union member of the @nynurses . Our son is a legal immigrant and grew up to be a union member in the UPS @Teamsters . Our family exists because Democrat @andrewcuomo worked with Republicans to legalize same-sex marriage over a decade ago. Today, NYC radical socialist politicians like @votejgr and @jessicaramos run around all day in designer clothes for photo-ops designed for social media, while berating moderate Democrats like Cuomo and ALL Republicans. These socialists scream that only they speak for gay men, immigrants and union members in reaching for the American Dream. But they don't speak for us. And they don't speak for you as a citizen or an immigrant, if you play by the rules. The answers to serious challenges aren't found in unserious, unqualified, demagogic socialist politicians selling NYC platitudes on a migration crisis, a crime crisis and a resulting budget crisis...ALL on their watch, ALL caused by their policies. The next time a NYC socialist politician tells you they have ALL the answers for a better future for you and your family, ask them what they've done before politics, as a private citizen, to make a difference for their state, country and humanity. In my opinion, most opportunistic @nywfp socialists like @bradlander talk the talk, but don't walk the walk...unless it's at fake protest, with real cameras. Or at a non-profit from which they they profit personally.

New York has 463,600 families with childcare-aged kids. We need childcare for half a million kids — not a Governor who holds a press conference for 200 seats.
