It’s very intriguing as well as somewhat weird in how one would want to attempt to co-opt a racial slur that was used to specifically target American Negroes, people of African decent, as if it’s traditionally & historically associated with their people group. If these individuals have Identified themselves as “Black Indigenous” w/no African ancestry then the proper term that they should be associating with their people group that has historically & traditionally weaponized to dehumanize, denigrate & humiliate their people especially Indigenous women is the racial term “squaw”!
