Today, for the first time as a cardiologist, I had a patient tell me they need pre op clearance/input from their naturopath before seeing CT surgery for urgent CABG. The naturopath/holistic world has irreparably harmed our patients. And no one is stopping it.

In all the complexities of healthcare, the first thing patients really want to know is "do you know me?" When they call, they don't want to have to repeat the same story over and over again. It's shocking how simple this could be yet how difficult this is to execute.
