Today, the family of Late #TwishaSharma has submitted a representation to the Expert Medical Board constituted pursuant to the Hon'ble High Court's order for the independent Second Post-Mortem Examination. The representation respectfully requests comprehensive forensic evaluation, including correlation of all medical records, injuries, ligature findings, radiological examination, toxicological evidence and other scientific material, so that every relevant fact is examined and the truth emerges through an independent, transparent and evidence-based process. The family places complete faith in the expertise, independence and scientific objectivity of the Expert Medical Board constituted by AIIMS and expresses gratitude to all institutions assisting in the pursuit of truth and justice. The family of Late #TwishaSharma respectfully urges @DGP_MP, @CP_Bhopal and the concerned authorities to consider reconstituting the investigation team and replacing TI of #Katara Police Station Shri #SunilDubey from the SIT in the interest of maintaining public confidence in the investigation. The family's request is based on its apprehensions and concerns regarding the perceived impartiality of the investigation. Without making any allegation of misconduct, the family believes that when a serious question of public confidence arises, it is in the interest of justice that the investigation be conducted by officers against whom no apprehension is expressed by either side. With the Government of Madhya Pradesh having reportedly recommended a #CBI inquiry, this is an appropriate stage to ensure that the investigation remains completely independent, transparent and free from any perception of bias. More than 10 days after the death of Twisha Sharma, the family still awaits answers. According to information available to the family and media reports, accused Giribala Singh is presently on bail and has reportedly been giving media interviews regarding the case. At the same time, the family respectfully seeks clarification regarding the status of cooperation with the SIT and recording of statements of all concerned persons. The family asks: • Has the SIT recorded the statements of all concerned persons, including Giribala Singh? • If notices or reminders were issued, what is the current status of compliance? • What steps have been taken to ensure that the investigation remains free from influence, publicity and speculation? • When will the family receive a complete update regarding the progress of the investigation?
