@chriswithans @varadmehta And Mueller had a huge conflict of interest because he and James Comey were very close. Comey looked up to him as a mentor, and Mueller felt Comey was sort of a protege. So, since Comey had been fired by Trump, Mueller never should have been selected or agreed to serve.

The entire thing was sheer idiocy and you should go back to before the inauguration to understand this. After Trump won and Hillary Clinton initially conceded, Green Party member Jill Stein fundraised off of getting recounts in the swing states. And then Democrats pushed to overturn the will of the voters by getting the Electoral College members to vote for someone other than Trump and, in some cases, even Clinton. Nancy Pelosi’s daughter was a part of the scheme. Russian “interference” (which happened while Obama was president) was part of the premise for this push. Hollywood celebrities filmed videos telling Electors to “dump Trump.” Members of the *electoral college* took the absolutely bizarre public step of demanding the DNI give them information about “Russia’s hacking,” as though they personal had some sort of role in deciding who should be president. It was against all that background that Trump was finally inaugurated in January 20th. Democrats couldn’t stop that but they took that energy into his first two years and used that to undermine his presidency with the Russia hoax. Mueller gave credence to that inanity by accepting the role of Special Counsel. All this wasn’t even to stop Russian interference in elections, which happened under Biden, but to cast Trump as an illegitimate president. Again, they never accepted that he won the election and tried to prevent him from even taking office by influencing the electoral college into voting against the will of voters.

@varadmehta @PatriarchTree And it never made any sense. Hillary Clinton was the Democrat, and like most Democrats at the time was far more willing to do what the Russians wanted her to do at the time. And she had done it for them in the past.

No one has ever been able to establish how Russia "succeeded in getting Trump elected." No one has ever proved a causal relationship there. The Mueller report certainly comes nowhere close to that. But we have been told for a decade now that it is a metaphysical fact.

I don't pretend to be a know it all. I don't have an expert level understanding of every issue. Sometimes I have to look to other people for advice. For example if I'm unsure about a specific issue, I check what Candace Owens says about it, and then I know the opposite to be true. There's no shame in this.

I cannot take seriously people who pretend they’re more aware of threats to potential operations than Trump and the entire Pentagon. Or that operational analysis and strategic outstrips Trump’s. He’s obviously been thinking about this a lot longer than you.

Our system is set up for members to be accountable to their voters. That is all he is saying here. I am not a huge fan of Graham in general, but there is nothing wrong with this, because it is exactly how the system is supposed to work. If the people of SC don't like his hawkishness, they can vote against him.

When he says blame me…. What does that mean in terms of accountability Is he going to pay financially? Will he go to jail? Will he resign in disgrace? Will he go on a national apology tour? No, none of those things. He’ll run for re-election
