@JPainis @darwintojesus To me it seems like the core of your issue with God is how you find it hard to see him as good. I want to tell you that I am not defending the same God you imagine when we talk about God.

@JPainis @darwintojesus you know what, I feel you man. I do hope you get to experience what I did when I came to Christ. I don't believe God created an intellectual barrier to logically deduce he exists, but rather leaves enough evidence for those that want to believe but not enough to force belief.

@AgginSwaggin @darwintojesus Well, you are right and wrong at the same time. The Bible god is in a quantum super position of being both evil and good at the same time because the Bible contradicted its narrative, hence making the story implode on itself into a black hole, making the story impossible forever.

@JPainis @darwintojesus no you misunderstood my point. There are things that are evil and God would simply not do those things, as he is good by definition.

@AgginSwaggin @darwintojesus In other words, there is literally nothing god can do that would be immoral by definition. He could rape a baby, but you can’t argue because he must have a reason according to your presupposition. What’s even the point of calling him good if you can’t even judge him?

@JPainis @darwintojesus if God was evil, then that wouldn't be the Christian God. Because he is by definition good. So if the creator of the universe is evil, then I don't believe in him.

@AgginSwaggin @darwintojesus Like for all you know he could be pure evil and you’re just here assuming he’s all good just because some book says so. Do you see why it’s always smarter to prioritize evident reality over a story yet?

Sold my $TSLA for a profit … I get the hype, but a 360 P/E goes against everything I’ve learned about investing. Are you still holding $TSLA at these levels, or is the math not mathing? lol

@JPainis @darwintojesus So if you believe God did something immoral, then either you are wrong about it being immoral, or you are wrong about God doing it.

@JPainis @darwintojesus not really, it's more like morality is an integral part of God's character. He is by definition perfectly good and in a way incapable of doing something truly immoral.

@NotA_Bull @AssetInvestorr p/e is irrelevant in some contexts. like if a company has no income, then it's p/e is infinite regardless of it's value.

@wholemars well, I think I can pretty easily tell if my mom or my dad is texting me despite using the same phone. AIs have personalities, so I don't think the Turing test in that sense has much of a meaning anymore

Have there been any serious attempts to conduct a Turing Test with today’s frontier LLMs? I hear people say today’s LLMs can pass, but i’m not so sure. I feel like I could tell the difference between a human and a machine somewhat reliably today.

@TeslaXplored @scienceoverbias I actually think the ratio has increased, look at the robotaxi tracker. It now shows percentage of trips that are unsupervised (which is arguably a better metric as some cars can be used more than others) and that metric has been growing.

@scienceoverbias Zero progress in terms of this “the ratio will increase over time.” The ratio has been very small with zero progress. Where’s the lie?

Two full months later and ZERO progress. If you’re a $TSLA investor, do you think this is normal and they’re just being cautious or this is worrisome and the software is not ready? Which would mean a delay in CyberCab production!! Not good!
Ashok Elluswamy@aelluswamy

Robotaxi rides without any safety monitors are now publicly available in Austin. Starting with a few unsupervised vehicles mixed in with the broader robotaxi fleet with safety monitors, and the ratio will increase over time.

@Tommy2Lightning @RealDanODowd yeah honestly I get you man, no judgement. When I was 16 still living in the states, my dumb ass just drove despite drinking at parties. I don't drink at all nowadays.

@AgginSwaggin @RealDanODowd Living in a burb and you want to go to a ball game. That might be a 40 dollar uber there and 40 back. Pray for no surge pricing. Adding an 80 dollar uber bill when I can just fsd doesn't make any sense. Now I don't go and get drunk out anymore, but 3 drinks and fsd.

Omar, stop telling people to use FSD when they're drunk. You will get people killed. You and the other shills will then attack their loved ones when they try to sue Tesla for misrepresenting its defective "Full Self-Driving" software. If you're drunk get an Uber or a Waymo.

People love to blame the car when they were just drunk driving the car themselves Next time actually turn self-driving on… you will make it home safe

increasingly clear that LLMs are just a Normal Technology cool and useful, but fantasies that their rate of improvement will continue indefinitely are just that like everything, we’ll reach a point where further improvement requires a qualitatively different approach

@Tommy2Lightning @RealDanODowd I agree with you, but I would say that you probably have the money for an Uber if you have the money for a Tesla + fsd. that being said, driving with fsd is 1000x better than without if you're driving drunk anyways

@RealDanODowd Honestly if it's between someone who doesn't have the money for waymo or Uber but they have fsd. Fsd is way way way safer than driving yourself. Zero people killed on fsd hw4 cars. Zero. How many while drinking and driving? Time for Dan to grow up.

@jason334990 @JOBhakdi I would say it's because 14.3 hinged on 14.1 and 14.2 to be released first. He said those should all take a couple of weeks. Now that there's nothing in between 14.3 and now, it's likely that his "few weeks" prediction is more accurate

@jeremybp @Codeforged_One @gdb I think people just liked 4o specifically because it was so sycophantic. It's really weird how strongly some people (like this dude) feel about some older model being discontinued.

@Codeforged_One @gdb The step improvement from 4o to SOTA thinking models is stark. On simple bench (private bench on common sense reasoning) 4o -> 17.8%. GPT5.4 Pro -> 74.1%. 4o is inferior in coding (33% SWE verif vs 77%), math (13.1% AIME vs 100%)... 4o was not AGI. 4o was sycophantic.
