I attended the Unite The Kingdom rally today to do interviews with participants and understand, in their own words, why they were there.

Your premise is flawed; nobody is arguing we shouldn't address offending by White British men - but that's a separate question from whether uncontrolled immigration adds additional, avoidable risk on top of an existing problem.
When foreign nationals are convicted of sexual offences at a 71% higher per capita rate than British nationals (as per MoJ/Courts & Tribunal Service FoI data), the logical response is to address both problems, not use one as an excuse to ignore the other.
And the grooming gang scandal wasn't just about the offending - it was about the systematic cover-up by police, councils and social workers who prioritised community relations over the safety of working class girls. That institutional failure has no equivalent in how authorities handle offending by White British men.
Reducing avoidable harm as well as addressing domestic causes isn't a contradiction, it's common sense.
