Older persons in displacement remain too often underidentified, underconsulted & underprioritized. "Protecting the rights of #OlderPersons is a core protection concern," @Refugees' Tomoko Ishihara told the @UN Intergovernmental Working Group on Older Persons at its 1st session.

"Protecting older persons requires recognizing them as active rights holders," @ilo told the @UN Intergovernmental Working Group on #OlderPersons at its 1st session. International labour standards provide a robust rights-based foundation to achieve this, the agency said.
