Directorate of Ordnance (C&S) under the chairmanship of Shri Sanjay Dwivedi, IOFS, ndc, Director General Ordnance (C&S) successfully organized a workshop on "Inner Vision - Viksit Bharat" on 24th April 2026 for the employees of Directorate of Ordnance (C&S), Kolkata & New Delhi, Field Units and newly formed Defence Public Sector Undertakings. Shri Rahul Bose, Business consultant and trainer very effectively presented and deliberated during the sessions and showed the vision, objective and road roadmap bringing out the need for active participation by everyone to ensure success of the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission. We Punjabis don't celebrate Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji as Marathas celebrate Shivaji. School curriculum must include regional history and heroes for the kids to know more about the heritage. This will shape mindset, critical thinking and understanding of ideologies at a young age.

I would have agreed with u a few years back. But today I disagree. Here’s my argument. Schools & colleges are the least interested in application. Indeed, my team tells me that 80% of engg colleges have disbanded Mech & Metallurgy streams. It’s a function of demand. But tool rooms & factories need a lot of young blokes to take on the load. They’re more committed to the trade than engineers. People like him will sustain their interest since it’s a difficult trade. A trade that is now facing competition for talent from the Swiggy & Zomato’s of India.

This guy shud be teaching in a school or college but here he is working in a factory. This is bad luck of our nation..
