@Se_Railway Only the QR scanners were disabled, so anyone on oyster/contactless was just exiting as normal through the barriers without checks. Passengers presumably can’t exit through the barriers with an invalid QR code so no idea what this exercise was designed to achieve

@Ajl46 Revenue staff are able to scan contactless/Oyster to check an active tapped in journey. Unfortunately, it is not possible to claim delay repay for delays getting out of the station. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused ^RL

@Se_Railway This is ridiculous. I wasn’t travelling on an SE ticket. It took me 15 mins to exit the station. Can I claim delay repay for this inconvenience? It also wouldn’t capture anyone using the oyster/tap & go options.

@Ajl46 I have just spoken with the station and the revenue team are currently doing ticket checks, therefore, the QR scanners are turned off while this takes place ^RL

Hi Annabel, I'm sorry to hear about the issues with your journey. Ticket barriers are more likely to be busy during rush hour I'm afraid, but I can definitely understand your concerns. I'm just going to loop in @networkrail who manage London Bridge station so they can see your feedback

@FinnStel @DanNeidle That depends on the type of risk you’re looking at. Women are more likely to risk things by caring for others - eg they are more likely to risk give up their careers to care for others. They are also apparently more likely to donate a kidney to someone else.

@DanNeidle Women are generally more risk averse so it doesn't seem that surprising.

@Se_Railway We’re on the 16:04 from Charing Cross and we haven’t made it as far as London Bridge yet. What on earth is going on?

⚠️ UPDATE: Trains are being disrupted between #LondonCharingCross and London Bridge because of a fault with the signalling system. 🚅 Trains out of Charing Cross will be delayed, and some services out may be diverted into Cannon St. 👷 Staff are on site investigating the issue.
