HW3 - cannot.
There’s no way to overcome the fact it cannot see when sun is low in the sky in front of you. I don’t see a way around that one.
Either way it’s a $72,000 car that’s worth like $22,000 today - loss of value of $50,000 = over $10,000 per year.
I bought my car for 3 reasons:
1) support Elon Musk’s success. He’s a good human
2) [most important] watch FSD evolution to truly understand Tesla as a company (have zero priority in getting beta releases / no v14 lite priority even testing for 4+ years)
3) make this car a robotaxi and buy another Tesla.
It was fun to watch the evolution… but I kinda regret not getting my BMW M2 manual transmission and having a good amount of fun without any of the frustration of the hardware being so terrible (suspension noise for 4 years is insane on my M3P)

What a joke! $TSLA has been SELLING and receiving money for Full-Self-Driving that it hasn't yet delivered for nearly 10 years. OF COURSE, they have to update vehicles. People paid up to $15,000 for that feature and were promised to get it "within the next year" every single year!

Tesla never forgot early adopters. That’s why they are still releasing self-driving updates for cars that are literally ten years old. Meanwhile over at legacy auto even NEW cars don’t get software updates at this level. Hell, you can buy a RIVIAN R2 and it doesn’t even have all the hardware for their planned ADAS features. And Rivian is one of the good ones. Tesla’s commitment to supporting older cars with software and hardware updates is absolutely unprecedented in the auto industry. Hopefully as V14 Lite finally rolls out wide we can stop and appreciate that for a second.

One thing that really frustrates me is when Tesla Self-Driving exits the carpool lane or express lane and then gets stuck in traffic.
As I see everyone else whizzing by in the far left lane, I get extremely annoyed knowing I should be there too.
