Accepting that some taxes are required to make society work, which taxes are most reasonable?
IMO the most reasonable tax is Sales Tax and the least reasonable is Property Tax.
At least with Sales Tax, we can choose self reliance if we disagree with the actions of the government. The tax is on those interacting within the society.
Property Tax is Feudalism (serfdom) by a different name.

Crime causes poverty, not the reverse. Crime and IQ (genetics) are closely linked. Satisfying needs can worsen things a lot if done with little strings attached ala gov welfare. Discriminatory private charity is more effective.

this is a subtle but extreme error. being unable to fully imagine being another person is the actual basis for empathy. when you think you can fully imagine being another person, you say things like: “well, if i was them, i would just…”. empathy is recognizing that’s impossible.
