Bro started in 1986 with $390k, day trades “full time”, and has $14m at 88 years old. He spends 40 years looking at monitors instead of spending time with his family, friends, and grand kids only to make half of a passive low-fee index ETF. The same $390k investment in the S&P 500 would be worth almost $30m - twice as much as this guy day trading full time for 4 decades. Time > Money and he lost out on both.

Europe will either get rid of all the red tape and bureaucracy or it will die. Europe has been subsidizing military costs at the cost of the US (paid by US to have power and influence in the European and middle east against Russia and China). That allowed Europe to offer democratic, near socialistic tools such as healthcare. As US pulls back from its alliances, the budget increase for military, intelligence and alike will squeeze the little to no existing growth they have remaining. For years, decades Europe has been resting on the achievements of its ancestors. Good times created weak man. It went as far as fully changing its demographics and taking on a massive burden through its immigration policy. Europe has one shot at this now. It either rethinks its anti-capitalistic tendencies, anti-rich and success or it faces its exodus in my view through a mix of very high and increasing debt burden, no growth, civil unrest, immigration costs and talent flight. I believe Merz and France have understood this hence the recent speeches and I hope they actually go on to reshape the general mindset... A very hard task but an existential one. Biggest indicator that things will shift: Poland, which has implemented that plan for a while now and has the highest growth of any European countries.

@TheShortBear Europe is failing because of declining population just like Japan is. No ifs and buts. As for getting comfortable, guess who are not comfortable? Immigrants. US has been growing and innovating cuz of immigrants. But immigration is ofc not what locals want these days.

@neil__to @vibetradoor You have to take in consideration probability. Which is more likely to happen? Being a well paid employee or an elite trader… Stop thinking about “hustling”, “never give up”, and the BS of motivational thing. You have to have a stop loss for this too.

Consider the opportunity cost of pursuing daytrading as a career. If you've done well in school and have trad high paying paths available in tech, banking, med, law, you have a lot more to lose than those w best alternative is cell phone sales rep. 1/2

-$1500. Literally couldnt get anything going. Didnt even size down that much. Was up big on $ABTS but gave it back on the squeeze. Not an easy price action market for me.

+$2500 quick scalp day mainly on $RUBI. Took it easy, didnt size in.

+$3590. Straight forward day. $LRHC was short of the consolidation daily level but didnt trade it well. $SNSE was clean, scalping off heavy tape and not overstaying into drops.

+$1350 Over traded and underpeformed. $PLYX backside was clean and $GXAI was a pretty decent dead cat bounce short. Just completely messed up $RIME
