Basically, I buy a protection plan & the new printer breaks
Get a replacement & after using it ONCE it breaks as well
But all the response I get is "well the warranty passed so too bad"
So sending broken replacements is A-OK with these companies

So disappointed. @Allstate and @AllstatePP offered to pay for my laundry as my dryer was broken for 3 weeks. Submitted the bill for $150. Got a check today for $50. Miscommunication: they told me there was no limit. They told me wrong. Yep-that’s a miscommunication.

@AllstatePP Email sent. BTW, you app constantly tells me I have to turn on location services for it, even though they're turned on, and the phone shows your app accessing them.
I'm glad the site/system for my homeowner's insurance is better than the one you offer for these policies.

@AllstatePP I have NEVER been as frustrated with a business as I am with yours. Put bluntly, your processes and systems would have to improve, greatly, to reach a level of "SUCK!".
In the last couple of years, I've filed claims on three items covered by your SquareTrade/Allstate Protection Plans banner.
Each of these claims processes was an increasingly intense lesson in annoyance and frustration.
The first claim, for a failed shop compressor, I called the Customer Service phone number provided, and was informed I had to start my claim online, or in the app, after waiting nearly half an hour to speak to a person.
I looked up the site, and was eventually able to log in after trying on 5 different browsers, on three different computers, and go through all the steps, including uploading a copy of the invoice, multiple pictures of the compressor, a full explanation of how it was used, what failed, and how, etc. Eventually, after multiple steps, over multiple weeks, I received an email from you saying you'd send me a check, "click here to agree".
"click here to agree" resulted in an error. Repeatedly. Over a period of days.
I called in, and after the 30 minute menu and person shuffle, I was told to use the app instead, and hung up on.
I hadn't used the app to start with because of my eyes. I use very few apps on my phone and mobile devices for this very reason. But, I installed the app, set it up, logged in, and made it all the way through to the accept a check process, only to have it error out, too.
I called in, spent half an hour getting through your system and explaining things to a CSR, only to be told they couldn't do the check request because your system was down, was expected to be back online in 2-3 hours, and I should call back in.
The following day, the same thing happened.
The following day, I called back in, and 45 minutes later I was told I'd receive an email with a link to an affidavit that I had to digitally sign. After signing it, I needed to call back in, again, and the claim would move forward.
After a final 30+ minute call, I was told I'd receive a check in 6-8 business days.
9 weeks and four more calls later, I did.
The second claim was for a desk chair that the tilt lock had failed on. All I needed was the part to replace it.
I went to the website, but I couldn't even get past the enter your email address page. I entered my addy, clicked on Next, the Next box grayed out for a couple of seconds, then turned blue again. Five different computers, multiple browsers on each, on three different networks, all resulting in the same thing happening.
Crap!
Back to the phone app.
I went through the process, like before. You weren't willing to repair the chair, or send me the parts. You were going to send me a check.
But, the app errored in the same place when trying to accept that solution.
Multiple phone calls, including one instance of the system being down, call back in, then the email affidavit bit, and eventually, I got the check.
Now, I'm going through the same idiocy, again, for a failed inverter. But this one's had some additional spice. In the beginning, the purchased warranty wasn't even in your system. I had to send in a copy of the purchase invoice, showing the item, and the warranty purchase. I was told I'd receive notification when the item and warranty were added to my account.
That didn't happen.
Eventually, I checked, and it was there.
I filed the claim. Went through all the motions, and eventually was told you'd send me a check, click here.
You know what happened, right?
I tried, daily, for three weeks.
Today, I gave up and called in, eventually getting through your AI annoyance system, and speaking to a young woman that would not accept me giving her the claim number without first giving her the type of item, the purchase date, the purchase location, etc..., and then, finally, plugging in the claim number to pull up the claim, which already had all that info.
Somehow, my inverter was no longer in your system as "Electronics $450-$500", as it had been all the way through the process. Now it was listed as "Household Item", requiring me to get online, look up the invoice, date, etc., giving her the info, so she could correct that.
Eventually, we got to the part what she said she could see that no resolution had been accepted, but a check had been offered. I reminded her that was why I was talking to her - I couldn't accept.
She clicked and clacked a bit, then put me on hold. After several minutes, she got back on the line.
And...
Guess what?!!
The system's down. I need to call back in 2-3 hours.
Is Allstate's plan to make filing claims so frustrating and annoying that people simply give up?
It damned sure seems like it.

I have spent almost 4 hours fighting with @amazon & @AllstatePP trying to get help with a TV that has stopped picking up the internet. Both companies tell me that I have to talk to the other company. Purchasing an extended warranty with them is worthless! #amazonsucks

@AllstatePP Thanks for "repairing" my computer so well that the parts fell apart in transit and passing the buck to shipping company to get out of fixing the problem. Offered me less than I spent and at least 500 less than it will cost to replace it. Save your cash.

@HomeDepot I truly love y’all more than @Lowes but our second standup freezer purchased from y’all in a year (diff brands) is trying to die on us & @AllstatePP is very difficult to communicate with via text. Help… I don’t relish having to replace another $400 of frozen food 🤷🏻♀️

@AuthorTronGriff @AllstatePP Yep, I just left my piece of crap appliance that was supposed to be covered by an Allstate protection plan on the Walmart service counter. Fine print will tell you if your purchase doesn’t even last to the manufacturers warranty. Your protection plan doesn’t apply.

@allstate @AllstatePP why is it OK for your employees to ask my personal private information and have nothing done about it when I want to complain just to get my claim denied because I refuse to give my personal and private information which you guys state you will never ask

@AllstatePP Don’t trust this ad. I’ve had the worst experience ever. They have no sense of urgency. They give very little effort to help. Their system is purposefully horrendous to make it difficult for the customer.
