this particular man is a menace!
he often threaten guys with “ we go incriminate you and nothing go happen”
they operate along festac/satellite axis.
the day i was going out, they stopped our bolt and forcefully took me to the same corner for a search.
they almost beat and cuff me cos i stood on my right, i was roughed up and my clothes got dirty.
his partner opened my WhatsApp and searched for fraud related words.
at the end, they extorted me of 15k.
i reported the issue to @PoliceNG_CRU and was refered to the SO, and my money got refunded.
my question is , how are these guys still operating on the highway even after reporting to the CRU and SO.

JUST TELL TINUBU NOT TO START WHAT HE CAN'T FINISH
When Nafiu Bala resigned, @inecnigeria acknowledged the letter on 10 October 2025. And when Nafiu Bala first went to court, INEC filed a counter affidavit and attached Bala's resignation letter. It is that same INEC that is now trying to help those whose entire lives revolves around criminality to scuttle our democratic process.
To those of you clapping for this m@dness, let me remind you that no one man can take Nigeria for a granted. Babangida couldn't do it, Abacha couldn't do it, Obasanjo couldn't do it, certainly Tinubu can't do it.
Let me also remind you that it was the NPC's weakening the AG and the very controversial 1965 elections in the first Republic that led to OPERATION WETIE which resulted in widespread violence and destructions across the South West Nigeria. Go read about the 'Wild, Wild, West'.
Also, during the 1983 elections, then electoral body FEDECO controversially announced the NPN candidate, Chief Akin Omoborio as winner of the Ondo state gubernatorial elections. Riot broke out across the state as a result, with widespread destructions of lives and properties, most especially targeting NPN politicians. This was one of the reasons the military took over, leading to the Buhari/Idiagbon regime.
To those of you hailing Tinubu today, you aren't doing him and his handlers any good. What you should be doing is advising him like late Chief Obafemi Awolowo did to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa in 1962 over the plan to declare a state of emergency in the South West, when he told him; "Don't start the fire if you can not quench it."
You see this fire Tinubu want to start? He won't be able to stand it let alone being able to quench it.

Upon my return to Abuja, I was parked by a soldier on duty who asked where I was heading, and I mentioned FCT. He politely asked if could lift one of his colleagues to Abuja, and I said it was fine.
When I was few meters close to Giri junction, I asked the officer his route, he was heading to Zuba while I was going through Lugbe axis to the town. I told him Zuba isn’t far. Transport is around 2-300 Naira.
I asked if he was going to stop there(Zuba), or he was heading somewhere. He then told me he was going home to see for the first time after 10 months, his newly born twins. No permission was granted over the period. Sadly, he had to make the compulsory trip because his wife had called that one of the babies had died. And she urged him to come see the other twin in case he will die too.
I asked him why he didn’t leave earlier than he left. He replied that he waited with the hope that salaries will be paid, since today is second, but it wasn’t, unfortunately. How then do you intend to make it, I asked him. He showed me all the money he had on him –4,500 which wasn’t even enough to get him to his destination.
I could not help than give him 20k and I took his phone number, giving him my words that I will call to get information about the sick baby.
I want to ask a question, please 🙏🏻
Are these the soldiers we expect to lay down their lives in our protection? You’re owing soldiers, and you want them to be effective while fighting insecurity?
Sadly, this is really laughable.
Allahumma bārik.

None have clearly improved since 2022 per World Bank, NBS, IMF, UNICEF data:
- Poverty: Worsened (41.8% at $3/day in 2022 to 52%+ projected 2025).
- Employment: Official rate fell (methodology shift 2023), but underemployment/youth joblessness high.
- GDP per capita: Dropped sharply (~$2,139 USD in 2022 to ~$1,084 in 2024).
- Out-of-school children: No gain (10-18M then vs 18-28M reports now).
- Industrialization: Sluggish (manufacturing output -14% in 2023; low growth since).
- Power: Capacity up slightly but 60% plants idle; supply unreliable.
- Security: Banditry/kidnappings persistent (thousands affected yearly).
- Purchasing power: Eroded (cumulative inflation 30%+ peak, naira devaluation).
Recent macro stabilization (inflation ~15%, GDP growth 3-4%) noted, but most metrics lag 2022 levels.
