Sometimes, I wonder why I do this work. I wonder why I work so hard to elect Republican majorities into office & — when we are in power — our very elected officials don’t wield or harness that power. I wonder why I lose sleep, miss family vacations, & put my personal life on hold, so wealthy Senators can go on paid vacations after not achieving the very promises they campaigned on. Sometimes, I wonder if they truly care about us & if they actually want to represent the will of the very people that elected them into positions of authority. I will tell you this: if the Senate ultimately does not pass the SAVE America Act, I will use all of the energy, hustle, & organizing efforts we used to elect these Senators into office as tools to peacefully & respectfully defeat them in their upcoming elections.

The Affordable Care Act was supposed to make premiums more affordable for the average American. Now healthcare premiums are so high. The average American can’t afford them, and the federal government has to use taxpayer money to subsidize those premiums to make them affordable. Democrats lied to us. This is a Democrat failure of epic proportions.

Trump and Republicans knew what would happen if they let health care premiums skyrocket: Americans wouldn’t be able to afford it and families would lose their insurance. Now it’s happening, and they still have no solution. We must keep fighting to bring down the cost of health care.

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in our country—period. That’s why today’s case on mail-in ballots being heard in front of SCOTUS is just another thinly veiled attempt by Trump and his allies to further rig the election. Mail-in ballots are used by our military overseas, our seniors, and disabled folks and others who may not be able to make it to the ballot box. Banning mail-in ballots from counting in elections is just another attempt to disenfranchise more voters.

Just because the President deploys ICE agents to airports, doesn’t change the fact that: 1. He’s in the Epstein Files. 2. He’s started an unauthorized war that he can’t find his way out of. 3. Americans are struggling to survive, and he’s failed to pass legislation to make it better, even though his party controls the House, the Senate, and the White House. It’s time for accountability.

Today marks 16 years since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law—delivering health coverage to nearly 50 million people and protecting over 120 million people with pre-existing conditions. Republicans slashed over $1 trillion from Medicaid and the ACA kicking millions off insurance and sending costs skyrocketing. We must protect the ACA and lower health care costs for everyone.

In America today, wealth inequality has become so extreme that the top 1% now own as much stock and mutual funds as the bottom 99% combined. No democracy is sustainable when so few have so much while so many have so little. We need an economy that works for all, not the 1%.

Senate Democrats will force a very simple vote to fully fund TSA. America will see the matter crystal clear: which Senators WANT to pay TSA workers and end the chaos at our airports, and which Senators are going to BLOCK TSA funding yet again. The President claims that the SAVE America Act is necessary to stop the scourge of noncitizen voting. So I looked at the data. The Bipartisan Policy Center analyzed the conservative Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database and found only 77 cases of noncitizens successfully casting ballots in American elections over 24 years.
