بعنوان استادی که سی سال تاریخ تحولات سیاسی ایران معاصر را در دانشگاه تدریس میکردم، حتی در خواب هم تصورش را نمیکردم که دانشگاهی که از ۱۶ آذر ۳۲، همواره علیه پهلوی هاشعار میداد، بعد از ۸۲ سال از سر خشم و نفرت ، بازگردد به پهلوی ها. چه کردیم در این ۴۷ سال با نسلهای جوان مان .

I saw someone ask, ‘Why must WE do it? Why do American taxpayers always shoulder the cost of being the world’s policeman?’
Because this is not charity for Iranians. It is self defense for Americans. The same regime that robs and massacres its own people is arming proxies, rebuilding, and working on longer range missiles that can eventually reach American bases and even the East Coast. If they do this to their own, imagine what they will do when they are strong again and we have turned our backs.
And remember, brave Iranians with bare hands are already fighting this terror regime that is terrorizing the whole world. They are shot, jailed, massacred, yet they keep rising. They are standing on the front line for a safer world. You are not doing them a favor. They are doing you a favor by confronting the same Islamist jihad that is spreading everywhere. Reagan said “we don’t negotiate with terrorists.” Obama said “engagement” would moderate them. Today @POTUS is in Geneva with a regime that is massacring people in Abdanan and executing protesters right now, after assuring him they would not touch the prisoners. @AOC and the Democrats demand more “diplomacy,” the MAGA non intervention crowd demands “no consequences” no matter what. You really trust men who break their word while the ink is still wet? This is not just Iran’s tragedy, it is a direct threat to American security.
Make no mistake about it.
Iranian -Americans will not forget nor forgive those who chose to look away.

Democrats like @RepAOC and the ‘progressives’ are watching today’s scenes from Iran: security forces storming neighborhoods, beating and shooting protesters, and courts parading terrified kids as ‘Mossad agents’ and ‘terrorists’ to justify death sentences.
