@sanjeev_k_gupta Charging an EV using a regular 15A socket is as good as using an AC or a Geyser. Electric car batteries consume upto 2.5 units per hour on a 15A socket, which will cost around less than Rs. 30 per hour to the hotel.

@AnandVedula There is no provision of Registration of Association under 1972. It has no legal standing. No Association has bn able to transfer land in its name hnc the land owner is still the Builder. It is just a grp of people who are acting as bullies like any other RWA in #Bengaluru

My RWA claims that car parking is common area as per apartment ownership act 1972 and I don't own it even if I purchased and registered it in my sale deed. And so there is no provision in the law to allow me to install an EV charging point in my parking slot.

Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) in a ground-breaking move, has officially allowed EV charging installations for EV owners at their own apartment parking slots! There is some irrational fear psychosis in #NexusMall #Koramangala in #Bengaluru with regards to Electric Vehicles. While there is a big multi level parking (as seen on left), they make EVs to be parked in baking sunlight outside. EV manufacturers kindly speak to them. #Ather

@nishantr @atherenergy @OlaElectric This is stupidity from #nexusmall #koramangala management. On the other side, many malls in Whitefield area (Phoenix mall, Forum Neighborhood, Shanti Niketan, VR mall) have installed charging points / charging zones in basement and multi level parking bays.
