@SW_Help If I have made a single journey that was delayed by 60 - 119 minutes (appeal won) I’m entitled to 100% of the single fare paid as per the terms on SWR’s website but I have only been granted 50% and wanted to interact with a human to understand the decision making in this process.

@RailUKForums 8.4 If the train you purchased a ticket for is cancelled or is delayed and you still decide to travel, special arrangements will be made to accommodate you on another train (although a seat cannot be guaranteed). So it’s the operators decision as to which trains to choose!?

This is incorrect from Northern Rail. When the booked train is cancelled, the company must allow appropriate/suitable alternatives. A passenger cannot be forced to incur a delay of 60+ minutes in order to satisfy Northern's desire to stick to the same "route" This is absurd!

@kel_young_ Because it's a different route to the one on your original ticket and not a direct service. So the 17:49 is the next available service for the route you have chosen. You can apply for a refund here 1

Wow @GWRHelp 5 weeks of travelling to London and I’ve not had a single week my train has not been cancelled due to lack of staff!! With Thatcham station closed, I’ve now travelled 30 minutes to theale paid more in car parking and I’m still going to be late to work.

It also tells you that you arrive at 1417 but the 1135 doesn’t go via Westbury it goes via Winchester and it’s the one that arrives at 1417. 2/2

@GWRHelp @SW_Help can you please clear up a query? the ticket in the picture is London Terminals to Weymouth, Super off peak and via Westbury however, the journey the app tells me to take and the information on the ticket itself says catch the 1135 Wat to Wey with 0 changes. 1/2

scaring the occupants of which one was a 2 year old child! I would say your employee needs to rethink their approach to driving whilst representing the company. This happened at 1220 with your vehicle exiting the A352 onto the A35 towards Weymouth today (03/01/25)

If the road is national speed limit (in this case 60mph) and you’re in a vehicle that is only allowed to to 50 mph and is also not quick enough to get up to or anywhere near that speed forcing vehicles to slam they’re brakes on, (2/3)

@wessexwater maybe teach your drivers the Highway Code as part of their training? When pulling onto a main road from a minor road you need to leave enough room to get up to the speed of the traffic already on said road. (1/3)
