If Iran has the strait of Hormuz claimed to control about 20% of the World’s Oil and Gas , why don’t the world concentrate on the 80% they have no control about. I really don’t understand why the focus is on the 20% . WHO controls the 80%?

@brian_armstrong Building in public is for amateurs, almost always a bad idea if you are building something world changing zero to one idea.

Operating in stealth mode is almost always a mistake. Talk publicly about what you're building. You’ll build momentum, get real feedback, and someone will reach out with the other half of your idea you didn’t realize you were missing.

@rabois @matthew_petti My next week’s Etihad flight through Middle East has been cancelled. I booked flight through Europe for double the price which takes double the time as well. No commercial flights are not back.

Government can't solve this—it's the biggest barrier to accessing quality meats and dairy. I buy from Hubbard’s Cupboard, an awesome home farmers market in Miami. They source raw dairy and grass-fed meat weekly from an Amish farm in PA. They turned their garage into a members-only club, but the county slapped a lien on their house. Now they need a pet food license and USDA inspected, acid washed, meat packing. Business is down 60% and they're surviving on deliveries and WhatsApp meetups.

@MaxMulvihil There is no war on protein 🤣 if they want people to eat better the government should make getting quality meats, dairy etc a lot more accessible to people

India won’t beat China with “hard work.” China wins because they constantly upgrade. I’ve seen factories there replace entire machine setups every 5 years. Not because they’re rich. Because they understand one truth: In manufacturing, CAPEX isn’t an expense. It’s survival. If you don’t keep upgrading: - you get slower - you get costlier - you get obsolete Smart CAPEX is the only way to stay in the game.

@SahilBloom I think it’s a sum of both, survival plus a achievement ( small wins )

I'm convinced confidence is built through survival, not achievement. Every scar is evidence that you can handle more than you thought. That you're adaptable. Resilient. It's not about knowing you'll win, but about knowing you'll bounce back even if you don't. That's confidence.

Glass had 5 – 50× higher plastic than plastic or cans The French tested water, soda, beer, iced tea, lemonade, and wine sold nationwide and found that glass-bottled beverages carried far more plastic shrapnel than plastic bottles or cans. 🧵
