My car I drive has TSI which stands for turbocharged stratified injection, this technology offers low emissions, it cuts the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, so it has a smaller impact on the environment resulting in better air quality. #apesair @franklinlorax

@Samanth37581689 @franklinlorax There are different types UV rays, this includes UVA, UVB and UVC. UVC is the most dangerous, but all can negatively impact us to varying degrees. @franklinlorax #apesair

The ozone layer protects us from UV Radiation. Another form of protection from UV Radiation is sunscreen. In summertime we all should wear SPF in order to lower our risk of skin cancer! @franklinlorax #apesair

When we drive, our cars emit gases like NOx, which pollutes our air. This is seen as anthropogenic because it is human caused. With quarantine, we are all driving a lot less which is helping our air quality! @franklinlorax #apesair

During this coronacation I have been consuming more energy than normal by playing PS4 in my free time. Energy provided by a coal power plant is what runs my TV and console. @franklinlorax #apesenergy

Now that we all have so much free time, we are all using our phones a whole lot more!! This requires us to charge them more frequently so we are using more energy:/ To preserve more energy we should unplug our chargers when we aren’t using them! @franklinlorax #apesenergy

@AvaPugh17 @franklinlorax Harvesting all the trees at once is called clear cutting! Although it is cheaper there are also many downsides to it like it causes a lower biodiversity! #apesland @franklinlorax

In order to have sustainable forestry practices, it is important to not harvest all trees at once. If only certain trees are harvested there will be time for them to grow back before being harvested again and harvesting can continue forever! @franklinlorax #apesland

@HGuehlstorf @franklinlorax I enjoy living in my house in Franklin! It’s so much more peaceful than if I were to live in a high density housing unit like an apartment downtown! Although low density housing uses more land, it’s more common in areas like we live in! #apesland @franklinlorax

Downtown Milwaukee contains high density housing. This means there’s lots of apartments/condos rather than houses. Here in Franklin, we have low density housing because most of us live in houses separate from our neighbors! @franklinlorax #apesland

These rocks have a high porosity and permeability due to how large they are compared to other materials like sand or soil. However, they have a lower water retention compared to those materials so when this snow melts the water will go straight through! #apesland @franklinlorax

If everyone lived like me, we would need 4.7 earths to meet everyone’s needs. There are many ways I can reduce my ecological footprint, one way is to carpool with friends and family from city to city.

Since we live in the US, my parents were able to have 3 children! If we lived somewhere else that was way too overpopulated they would’ve been limited on the gender/number of kids they could have! #apespop @franklinlorax
