@Dan_in_BKK @RonallChersan Hit prediction: if it follows the PP lounge in KL, it will have a single draft beer on tap, advertise "alcoholic drinks included', but charge for everything else including house wines.

@RonallChersan That's good news! It will doubtless be an improvement over the Coral and Miracle lounges. They both need to improvement their wine selections or just shut down as the selections are not giving passengers anything close to a premium experience.

@creepydotorg Yeah I watch a video that there is an abandoned town in Australia that is basically chernobyl of asbestos as it was a asbesto mining town. Worst part is the Government claim they will seal/ contain the town but basically done nothing about it!

This is a 1953 photo of two 4-year-old Australian boys playing in an asbestos sandpit. At the time, very little was known about the devastating effects of asbestos, and people commonly used asbestos sandpits for their children to play in. The boy on the left, Philip Noble, later grew up to become a footballer before dying of mesothelioma at 36. The boy on the right, Ross Munroe, later became a high school principal and also died of mesothelioma at 38.

Confirmed it was a charter for The Brethren. Geez, if Qantas had an A380 in their inclusive "Pride" livery they could've used 🌈 that would've been a fun watch... 😂 😂

@interceptours When I had a layover at Don Muang I would sometimes exit through immigration, eat at the landside Burger King, and then go back through immigration. That could cost 500 baht.

25 years ago you had to pay to leave Thailand. You would go to a booth at Don Mueang Airport and pay 500thb in cash, receive a ticket, which was punched on exit to immigration so it could not be reused. It went up to 700thb before it was integrated into your flight cost as a tax.

Many thanks to my wonderful wife,Pun, family and friends and the fantastic doctors and nurses at Chanthaburi government hospital where I've had a brain tumor removal earlier this month. Getting stronger and biopsy results are next week.

Achieved rather a lot since I got back to Bangkok last week. Sun->Yangon -Medical follow up ✅ next surgery possibly Q3, fine ATM - True Money app verified & running, had avoided this for YEARS -got 7-11 app working, tested with a delivery - hence the need for the True Money /2

@ThosMajor 3rd time lucky. I had tried before, and failed dismally - but had read there was an app upgrade or some debugging since the last 2 times I tried. Last night finally got it sorted, with a glass of wine. Small wins of course, it's hardly a life changing app to have! 🤭
