I hate that I even have to come here, but... Do I know anyone at @Fossil or know someone who knows someone? I sent in my watch for repair 4 months ago, they held it hostage with with no updates until yesterday when they said it's beyond repair. This is completely unacceptable.

@jdpereira My experience is in very demanding environments, supervisors have no tolerance or time to remediate for improvement. It’s up or out. This experience is most obvious in surgical rotations but is present in broadly in medicine and also in basic science to some extent.

Leave. This is a horrible mentor and it’s abuse. Being on a student visa doesn’t mean you have to take abuse. Leave. Find somewhere else.

Dear @CityofVancouver It's ridiculous that one has to book in advance to enjoy a public outdoor pool in our city. It's embarassing how little public rec facilities we have. @KenSimCity DO BETTER!

@yvrteacher @CityNewsVAN @bcndp @KenSimCity Practically every major artery in Vancouver and North Van was affected because ONE accident shut down ONE bridge. That's insane.

@yvrteacher @CityNewsVAN @bcndp @KenSimCity I know. That's part of a larger conversation about the general lack of safety on our roads (look at how many accidents happen constantly on highway 1) ... But we still need infrastructure to deal with road shut downs like these.

@VancouverPD The closure of ONE bridge for a few hours causing massive delays all over Vancouver and North Van shows how massively unprepared these municipalities are for the growing population. @bcndp and @KenSimCity need to do SOOOO much better.
