Today, @RwandaNGOForum , in collaboration with youth-led and student organizations and associations, launches Youth Action Against Cervical Cancer, a call for young people across Rwanda to lead the movement for prevention, awareness, and early detection. The campaign aligns with the #Rwanda #Mission2027 cervical cancer elimination strategy. Cervical cancer is preventable and treatable when detected early. The power to change the story is in our hands. We are amplifying one clear message: Test to Know, Act to Protect. The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and cervical cancer screening save lives. No woman or girl should be left behind because of vaccine hesitancy, being an out-of-school girl, poverty, stigma, fear, misconceptions, or lack of information. Let us all be part of the journey. Encourage a sister, a friend, or a mother, start the conversation, seek screening, and support HPV vaccination.
