Today, our visit in @NATO_KFOR continues 🇽🇰🤝
We had chance to see KFOR area of responsibility from a bird’s eye point of view, thanks to the Swiss Air Force🇨🇭and the Hungarian Air Force (Magyar Légierő) 🇭🇺.
NATO Ally Hungary🇭🇺 remains a major troop contributor to NATO's peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
Switzerland🇨🇭, a NATO Partner since 1996, actively participates in KFOR and strengthens ties through an Individually Tailored Partnership Programme (ITPP).

With Kosovo formally an independent state and diplomatic relations established, the next step was to reflect that relationship in our diplomatic presence. On April 8, 2008, the status of the U.S. Mission in Pristina officially changed from a U.S. Office to a U.S. Embassy. As a result, the official title of the mission became U.S. Embassy Pristina.
