On 28th May, 2023, ahead of Amit Shah's visit, many houses in 10 #ManipurVillages namely 1) Serou 2) Sugnu 3)Tangjeng 4)Terakhongsangbi 5)Sekmai 6)Napet 7)Wapokpi 8)Kanglatongbi 9)Phayeng 10)Bishnupur were reportedly under attack and were allegedly set ablaze by Kuki militants. These Meitei villages were attacked and burnt by Kuki terrorists under the watchful nose of the state forces. Central Forces were not allowed to perform their duty. Eye-witnesses have reported that these goons were well-equipped with sophisticated weapons including mortars and drones. There were exchange of gunfires between armed Kuki terrorists and unarmed Meitei civilians.
