Honestly this is way bigger than just some medical breakthrough Nolan became living proof that disability isnt the end of your story its the start of a whole new chapter when you got the will and the tools The guy went from cant move a finger to writing with his brain studying math and giving speeches Think about that for a second Theres people out there fully healthy complaining life is hard and theres no opportunities And Nolans completely paralyzed turned his brain into a keyboard and mouse and hes building his future from scratch This isnt just another success story Its a message to all of humanity Your limits arent in your body theyre in your mind Neuralink didnt give him a new hand They gave him a new world And the best part hes not the last one more people are joining the trial Were literally witnessing a revolution thats gonna redefine the word impossible

love where this is going @nikitabier @elonmusk but ima be real w u. @xchat wont make it big if ppl r forced to have an @X account just to sign up. let ppl register w their phone number or email thats it. if u keep it locked behind an X account thats gonna be a dealbreaker for so many ppl.

there will this brief era where we can watch our AIs bumble around on the computer clicking things, failing sometimes, taking a ~human amount of time to write code. in the blink of an eye they’ll be manipulating computers far too quickly to monitor

36 yrs and hubble still blowing our minds w/ pics that make u feel like a speck in an endless universe. craziest part is they launched it w/ major technical issues that couldve killed the whole project. but nah they decided to fix it IN SPACE. and now its literally an icon. honestly if ppl handled their problems w/ that same mindset the world would be a whole different place tbh.

the 52 problems thing is what gets me tbh. everyone else is building yearly plans that r already outdated by feb. elon just asks whats broken this week and fixes it rn. thats not management thats literally debugging a company like its live software. and the reason most ceos wont do this is pretty simple. u actually gotta understand what ur company does. u cant skip the chain of command if u dont even get what the engineer on the floor is talking abt.

Ian Miles Cheong@ianmiles·
Marc Andreessen explains the unusual operating method of Elon Musk, answering what might be the single biggest question in business right now: why don't more CEOs operate the way that he does? 1- The 52-Week Problem Solving Method While most other large companies are still having the pre-planning meeting for the board presentation and waiting on compliance reviews, Elon takes a completely different approach. He shows up every week at each of his companies, identifies the biggest problem they are having that week, and he fixes it. He does that every week for 52 weeks in a row. By the end of the year, each of his companies has solved its 52 biggest problems. 2- The Shocking Zone of Competence This level of execution capability and intense focus on fundamentals has a major side effect: it attracts the best people in the world. If you work with Elon, the expectations are through the roof. He is going to know exactly who you are, what you have done, and what you accomplished this week. If you are not carrying your weight, he may fire you in the meeting. But if you are capable and committed, it becomes the best experience of your life. As one former aerospace employee described going to work at SpaceX, it is like being dropped into a shocking zone of competence. Most people never get to experience an organization where the bar is held that high, causing the competence level to constantly rise. 3- Bypassing the Corporate Hierarchy The most compelling part of his method—and why non-technical CEOs struggle to implement it—is what happens when he finds a bottleneck. He completely ignores the chain of command. He is not asking the VP of engineering to ask the director to ask the manager for a report to be reviewed in three weeks. He would throw them all out of the window before doing that. Instead, he goes directly to the manufacturing line or the software development group. He personally finds the line engineer who actually understands the technical nature of the bottleneck, sits in the room with them, and fixes the problem together.
