@atlanticesque The fundamental question is: Do you trust that the market will provide (with some reasonable guardrails), or not? There are very smart people who, for whatever reason, just can not understand that good things can come from lots of individuals acting selfishly.

Republicans get *tons* of stuff wrong. Tons. But they tend to govern better because they get the basics right. Most smart policy people are Democrats, but because Democrats get so many fundamental aspects of governance wrong, they're fighting a wicked uphill battle.

I am taking my continuing education courses online this week. I am about to start my 23rd year in commercial real estate and so this is my 23rd year complaining about how we are required to hold a residential real estate license. If apartment leasing agents are exempted (who actually deal with housing and consumers) why aren't business to business transactions that have nothing to do with housing? Aside from ranting about it, we are doing something about it. Education is important but we all know the licensing isn't cutting it. The CRE Launch Program was designed to help. Learning by just starting the journey is great but wouldn't a map be nice? If you or someone you know finds themselves wishing they had a stronger foundation please consider the CRE Launch program.
