Given the lighting I’m not entirely certain this was on I-77 or under it. I honestly don’t recall any I-77 bridge having the side lights. Thoughts?

@CedarPosts Unacceptable. Public servants (myself included) MUST be held to the exact same standard (if not a HIGHER standard) than the citizens that we serve. We are in a poor trend right now among our elected folks…Brown, Ingram, McFadden. Time to fix it & stop being an embarrassment.

And then there's this
Joe Bruno@JoeBrunoWSOC9

Just about every Tuesday of the month, Yvette Townsend Ingram sits on the dias as a Mecklenburg County Commissioner. She sits about 50 or so feet away from a law enforcement officer. So how is it an arrest warrant can go unserved for more than a year? The Gaston County Sheriff's Office tells me any warrant issued in Gaston County, for an individual who resides in another county, must be served by an agency with jurisdiction in that county to make arrests. The Gaston County Sheriff's Office tells me they entered and assigned the warrant to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office on February 5, 2025. But a spokesperson for the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office claims MCSO was not asked to serve the warrant. MCSO says Gaston County could have reached out to them February of last year and advised that they had entered a Warrant For Arrest in their system but they did not. MCSO says given Ingram's position as a commissioner, it is likely her attorney will advise her to turn herself in. What is Commissioner Ingram saying? Not a whole lot. I reached out to her about her outstanding warrant last week. She did not respond to me. Yesterday on Facebook, she alluded to her situation. She thanked the Charlotte Mecklenburg Black Political Caucus for endorsing her "despite "the social injustice system" & ambulance-chasing news people." In a separate post, she thanked people who reached out to her and said "I'm not going to feed into this broken system." CMPD has not responded to a request for comment. I followed back up with the Gaston County Sheriff's Office about MCSO's statement. And I reached out to MCSO and CMPD about GCSO's statement. Story from yesterday: wsoctv.com/news/local/arr…

Remembering the life of my USNA classmate, Joshua Kaleb Watson, on the sixth anniversary of the horrific shooting at NAS Pensacola. Josh was the officer of the deck that day and saved countless lives with his own. After being shot multiple times he made it outside and told the first response team where the shooter was. A native of Enterprise, Alabama, about 125 miles northeast of Pensacola, Joshua was a natural leader, a huge Auburn football fan, and a person who put others first and strove to bring out the best in them, his family described. On December 10, 2019 the acting Secretary of the Navy posthumously designated Josh a qualified naval aviator. Rest easy, Josh. - This photo was taken my plebe year after my roommate, Christine, and I got into a snow brawl with Josh and his company mate. It’s one of my most cherished USNA memories.

@Brett_Jensen Seeing tarnished careers & reputations over all of this attention and ALLEGATIONS. I recommend looking into the Town’s history as well. There’s widespread support for Chief Withers & his career is impeccable. He is LOVED by all he has served with throughout the entire region.

NEW: CLT media failed to report that two of the firefighters charged in the Stanley FD investigation currently work at CLT FD. Eric Withers is a Division Chief with CFD & Michael Hullette is a captain with CFD. Both were charged with multiple felonies working part time in Stanley. A spokesperson for CLT FD said they are aware of the situation and can’t comment at this time. A division chief oversees a shift or a key area, and a captain supervises a company on a shift, usually 4-5 firefighters and their apparatus. Division chief is equal to a major for CMPD. Captain is equal to a sergeant. According to the Stanley PD, “The investigation determined that the former members’ actions had broad and dangerous implications for community protection, directly affecting the department’s potential ability to respond to fires, hazardous materials incidents, and after-hours emergencies. Specific acts uncovered during the audit and investigation included: • Erasing the hydrant mapping system, removing detailed hydrant locations and capacity data, leaving firefighters without vital information for two weeks. • Deleting sensitive public safety files from town computers and other electronic devices. • Blocking access to emergency response software needed by the new administration to manage fire operations. • Restricting access to the Knox Box system, which contains keys allowing firefighters entry into local businesses and industrial sites after hours. • Withholding hazardous materials documentation, which identifies what chemicals are stored or used at specific businesses, information essential to safe fire and rescue operations. These deliberate acts compromised the department’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies, placed firefighters in unnecessary danger, and jeopardized the safety of Stanley’s residents. Following a comprehensive investigation, a Grand Jury has indicted former Chief Eric Withers, former Deputy Chief Michael Hullett, and former Captain Ashley Price on multiple felony charges, including Michael Hullett: • Financial Transaction Card Fraud • Damaging computers, computer programs, computer systems, computer networks, and resources • Denial of government computer services to an authorized user Larceny by Employee Eric Withers:      • Denial of government computer services to an authorized user • Damaging computers, computer programs, computer systems, computer networks, and resources • Obstruction of Justice   Ashley Price: • Denial of government computer services to an authorized user • Damaging computers, computer programs, computer systems, computer networks, and resources • Accessing government computers • Felony Breaking and Entering • Larceny after Breaking and Entering”

Here’s one for the books. @BaltimorePolice Foxtrot, the Helicopter, spots a civilian in cardiac arrest, calls for @BaltimoreFire EMS, lands the helicopter, and starts CPR. If ever there was a chance for survival, this would be it. 🙏 Amazing work by all! Pray for a good ending
