If senators are going to vote to shut down the government and prevent millions of federal workers from getting paid, they ought to have the same skin in the game.
My resolution passed the Senate today to ensure they do.

You know the Flock Camera Systems that are being used as mass surveillance on American vehicles.
Well multiple police officers have been caught using the system to spy on their spouses, ex-spouses, and random people.

Looks like West Virginia survived their new voter ID law just fine.
No mass chaos.
No collapse of democracy.
In fact, officials reported “very few glitches” during the first primary election under the new photo ID requirement. Imagine that.
Turns out asking people to prove they are who they say they are at the ballot box works pretty much the same way it does for airplanes, banks, prescriptions, jobs, and basically every normal part of adult life.
The real shock is that some politicians still act like election security is an unreasonable burden.
