What activities took place during stays at these remote and highly restricted resorts? Reports suggest that when certain Emirati guests were present, no other visitors, not even Ethiopian ministers, were permitted to stay. Within Ethiopian politico-military and business circles, there have been numerous rumors and allegations about what may have transpired at these locations. While rumors alone are not evidence, the combination of secrecy, restricted access, and high-profile foreign visitors warrants careful scrutiny. I urge serious journalists and independent investigators to examine this matter thoroughly and transparently.
