Question for the group: Management of company in an asset heavy industry tells you likely won't be taking allowable bonus depreciation. Company has a sizeable NOL but is projected to be (very) profitable next year. Company is not taking the bonus depreciation because __________?

$RIG buying $VAL. A lot of ink has been spilled on the hellsite on OFS over the past ~5yrs. Stock was 2x at Sep ’23 highs, but this has been a bad trade since I pitched it. I like this deal - credit +, takes an undisciplined player off the board, and marries two solid fleets.
