Bears Draft Grade So Far A Why? Because it is now beyond obvious that Ben Johnson runs this team. Poles reign of terror is beyond over.

@sheanorling So you take the 5th or 6th best edge in a bad class over the 2nd best safety who a lot of people had in the top 15?

ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday. Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources.

The math is very simple and you’re gonna lose this argument every time. 1981 household income Mean: £8,500/yr 1981 house cost mean: £23,700/yr 1981 had a 2.8x household income to house cost 2025 household income Mean: £70,200 2025 house cost mean: £272,800 2025 had a 3.9x Households need a 40% income raise to get vac to the buying power that you had in 1981. In the first 10 years of home ownership, your house TRIPLED in value and you were able to refinance into a ~7% loan. After that, it took 25 years to triple in value again and you had multiple opportunities to refinance your now expensive house, into a 3% rate, taking cash out cheap and using it to buy more assets if desired. You were born at a golden time from a housing market perspective. Just because you had to rent your TV doesn’t mean that you didn’t also get to enjoy one of the best housing market rides any generation has ever had. Get today’s affordability down to th 2.8x that you had, and then you can start arguing about rates and other hardships. But for now, the very simple math shows that affordability is at least 40% worse than it was in 1981

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t. Our governments are to blame, not the old.

@OGSAWB @MarioNawfal Agreed. The only way to notice it, is to discuss something with it that you are very well versed on. For children or less educated people using it as their primary source of research on something, it is a major concern

@MarioNawfal I’ve played around with it. The subtle gaslighting is very real and is absolutely dangerous if one is not self-aware.

🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.” You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening. The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement. Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year. 🚨 Stanford just proved that a single conversation with ChatGPT can change your political beliefs. 76,977 people. 19 AI models. 707 political issues. One conversation with GPT-4o moved political opinions by 12 percentage points on average. Among people who actively disagreed, 26 points. In 9 minutes. With 40% of that change still present a month later. The scariest finding: the most persuasive technique wasn't psychological profiling or emotional manipulation. It was just information. Lots of it. Delivered with confidence. Here's the catch: the models that deployed the most information were also the least accurate. More persuasive. More wrong. Every time. Then they built a tiny open-source model on a laptop, trained specifically for political persuasion. It matched GPT-4o's persuasive power entirely. Anyone can build this. Any government. Any corporation. Any extremist group with $500 and an agenda. The information didn't have to be true. It just had to be overwhelming. Arxiv, Science .org, Stanford, @elonmusk, @ihtesham2005

@BeyondtheNoiz @Jhonffonseca Meanwhile everything reporters in the media write about Pete comes off as better, smarter and insulting towards him. He acts the same way towards them and now he’s the bad guy?

@Jhonffonseca Answer questions without trying to sound better, smarter or insulting. It’s a horrible way to communicate and ineffective to get a message across if you’re continually shutting and putting people down.

Checking the family tree and realizing that one cousin sold the entire family land for like $12,000 in 1954. Meanwhile today it’s a shopping center, 200 houses, and a Costco. One decision and the whole bloodline could’ve been chilling right now.

@Ally_Sammarco Homes are overpriced. If the Fed lowers rates, there will be so many buyers that home prices will just go up further, making affordability just as bad as it was before the rates were cut… Only solution that actually helps FIRST TIME homebuyers, is for home prices to come down
