@TMW_14101987 @javier078 Agreed. DS9 and Voyager are prime examples of this. Both are still stuck on DVD, with no Blu-ray release in sight, because doing a proper remaster would cost too much and, in the studio’s eyes, simply isn’t worth the investment.

Why would physical media collector's (movie fans) stop buying DVD's? what if the movie is ONLY available on DVD?

To add to this, stop buying DVDs. Blu-Rays are better ( most of the time) and your PlayStation 3-5 and Xbox One/Series can play them

@DavidLeavitt I have been pissed for the last 15 years that they didn't remaster DS9 after TNG. The licensing fee for Star Trek shows worldwide is about 300 million per year.
