Unfuckingbelievable.... Canada bans bulk imports of US fruits & vegetables, forcing smaller, pricier packs. It's listed as a trade barrier in the official US report, and we're refusing to fix it. No wonder groceries cost a fortune while the Liberals protect ridiculous, outdated rules.😏
The Canadian Independent@canindependent

WATCH: For Canadians wondering why fruits and vegetables are so expensive, a U.S. government hearing yesterday reveals that the Canadian federal government has been restricting bulk imports of fresh U.S. produce.

It has come to my attention that today is Day Three of the 2026 NDP leadership convention and that yesterday was Day Two. I feel terrible about the mix up given the seriousness of the event and the gravity of the moment—so I've gone back and compiled some highlights from Day One.

@cleartheshelf I don’t think online arbitrage is dead as in opportunity does not exists. Just many are now taken and don’t need new sellers. PL definitely is the future for any eCommerce business imo for long term growth strategy’s. Arbitrage has and will always be transactional primarily.

Helium10 just showed us corporate greed at its finest. A shining example of how private equity runs perfectly good companies into the ground. Instead of incentivizing the affiliate partners that quite literally built their company, they decided to do the opposite. In an email deviously disguised as just another affiliate update, they made the following announcement: • All lifetime recurring affiliate commissions are being cut • Affiliates will now earn a one-time commission • Existing recurring commissions are NOT being grandfathered I have friends who have promoted Helium10 from day 1. One will lose $15,000+ per month in recurring commissions. Another will lose $4,000 per month. Thousands more will lose hundreds. This is such a hilariously bad move that there can only be one purpose: Juice short-term profits on the P&L to position for another sale. I will never promote a company that treats their affiliate “partners” like garbage. Helium10, do better.

@AmazonASGTG I hope this extends to sealed trading cards because right now Amazon has an incredibly crooked double standard in place that is gravely abused and crushing sellers like me. I’m even blamed for those returns and have lost brand permission over it. Such evil Amazon.

@KatKanada_TM Kids in urban areas are read land acknowledgments everyday at school, adults are read one every at meeting. When you tell people something over and over again, they believe it. They convince boys to cut their wang off so the,“We live on stolen land” isn’t far fetched

@SaulSellsStuff Agree man. I used to think that people that sold used items were wasting their time and made no money and put their accounts at risk, the sell 40-70k a month. Years later their account is still active and they net 20-30k. And the “big” sellers? Struggle to pay themselves

Morning! Amazon twitter can be a super helpful place, but it is also a vacuum. I saw a post recently about what makes a someone a big seller and some of the answers blew me away. Couple of the comments said $20m+ a year in revenue. That is definitely a big seller, but I wanted to pull out some data to help contextualize where we are. Twitter is full of 7/8 figure sellers and it may feel that’s the normal and if you either aren’t there or don’t want to be then you may as well hang it up. Here are some stats from 2024 from a few sources. 1.1 million active sellers in the US alone but 2 million worldwide. Nearly 10 million with selling accounts. 1. Average seller does $25k a month. 2. 2.7% of active sellers do $1m a year 3. 6% of sellers do $50k+ a month 4. 1% of sellers have done $5m+ in lifetime sales (yes lifetime). I love surrounding myself with people that push me. They exist in a space I want to be in. That’s important. However comparison is also the thief of joy. It’s so easy to look over the shoulder on social media and feel down about where you are. Unfortunately this can trigger bad decision making, forced spend, cut corners, etc. You’re likely succeeding in a way that you don’t realize. 50% of small businesses fail in the first 5 years. What you need to go full time if that’s your goal is vastly different than what I need. I’ve seen people make it work on $40k a month in sales and others have to wait until $200k. Someone doing $30k may profit more than someone doing $80k. So yes push for the life you want, learn from those around you, get into the rooms, ask the questions, etc but also acknowledge that you’re doing it now, and you’re finding a footing in a way that most others haven’t figured out. Be proud of that and tackle the next steps with the confidence that you have earned.

Hi Jason “Real Conservative” here. I’m also an immigrant. 👋 What’s clear to me is that you’re a clearly out of touch. Why don’t you move to Mississauga or Toronto or Brampton and get a taste of reality? The crime is parasitic. It’s out of control. Don’t you dare try to conflate our mass uncontrolled immigration and Canadians somehow being like Nazis. I think that makes you a bigot if I’m being honest. Canadians are allow to hate what their country is turning into. Trying to guilt trip them is laughable at best. Believe it or not, this is how the real world works. People get pissed with uncontrolled crime, a poor healthcare system, uncontrolled immigration, and entitled migrants who simply came here on a temporary basis. And you dare say mean words like parasitic make them akin to the party that committed genocide. The only thing that’s utterly grotesque is you.

This👇 is utterly grotesque. “Parasites” is purposefully hateful. It is precisely the kind of language that the Nazis used to describe Jews. It possible to support a rules-based immigration system without dehumanizing migrants. This is not the Maxime Bernier I remember from our years together in Stephen Harper’s Cabinet. What has happened to him has happened to too many on the right. It needs to be called out and condemned by real conservatives, who reject racism without equivocation.
Maxime Bernier@MaximeBernier

We don’t need these foreign parasites. They should all be deported!

To all the Big Amazon Sellers who have been selling for years: If Amazon keeps increasing fees year after Doesn’t reimburse properly How are you profitable? Profits net margins are at 13-15% when scaling I get that but if you have been selling for years and fees are up, shouldn’t the margin drop? Or are you just better at sourcing overall so margins stay the same? Curious to know your thoughts. Thank you 🙏 @fbaworshiper @JeffSendsIt @flips4miles @fieldsofprofit @SeanKaupp @maxshoyat @7FigSaykho
