"India joining the CP-TPP would contribute to reduced dependency of both India and other CP-TPP members on both the U.S. and China. The Modi administration can take a cue from the leadership of one of the earliest Indo-Pacific champions, the late former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, when he went ahead and led the formation of the CP-TPP after the U.S. backed out. As a soon-to-be third-largest world economy, it is imperative for India to show similar leadership to leverage the CP-TPP to the advanatge of a larger Indo-Pacific trade architecture." #WATCH | Delhi | Odisha's Balasore student self-immolation case | BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra says, "This incident is very unfortunate, but it is also very sad that the opposition is doing politics on it. The police have taken action and the reasons for the incident are being investigated... Such incidents happen every day in West Bengal, but the opposition remains silent on these..."

I’m so grateful that my grandfather chose to stay in India and uphold secularism instead of moving to Pakistan. The delusion there is on another level. Always proud to be an Indian. 🇮🇳

This weekend, read "Foreign Policy for the Working Class"—my latest with @AndrewBHanna. Tertullian asked, “What has Athens to do with Jerusalem?” Today, we ask: What do D.C., NYC, and Silicon Valley have to do with the working class? Here is our answer:   nationalinterest.org/feature/toward…

Almost every Indian op-ed piece on Trump’s foreign policy and India’s attempt to navigate it today, could have been printed in 2017 and nobody would know the difference if you swapped the two. And, this is not just because the authors are largely all the same.

Why did all of you guys not utter a word for “strategic needs” of the F-35 until last week and suddenly are discovering “capability gaps to be filled” etc etc to justify the purchase? Either group think or sold outs or just “my fave politicians have discussed, so just be right” nonsense!
