@iJordanMoore MLB teams depend on gate revenue more than any other major sport. That is the whole answer. A 1pm Monday game with 15,000 fans is not “exposure.” It is a team losing real money on a revenue stream the NFL and NBA do not need to worry about.

As Major League Baseball, why isn’t there a day game every single day?
There should be a game on at 1pm ET Monday-Sunday. More eyes, every team getting exposure. Stands might not sell out on a Monday afternoon but every team gets seen. Casual fans tune in. The sport grows.

I’m all for making the #NBA a world wide league. There is only 1 way to do that though, it’s making the NBA Cup a multi league tournament. Which to me means, go to the top 2 leagues in the world and ask them to implement a tournament of their own and those top 3 teams from each league get an invite to the NBA Cup with the other champions earning home games
I think it’s doable and adds a layer of excitement especially seeing how rowdy those European crowds can get

I try not to freak out about all of this but, the Brooklyn Nets have one playoff series win the last 12 years. I think it’s understandable to be nervous about not maximizing lotto odds this year. We literally have nothing close to a 1st or 2nd option of the future. We also don’t have our 2027 pick. It’s all or nothing, or we suck for another 170 games before we get a shot at the lottery again.

MLB improvements over past few years have shown how tough a spot NBA is in. They don’t have a simple strike zone to officiate. They already sped the game up too fast. Their stats and records aren’t as revered. They have half as many games and people still say the seasons too long
