Yes, we will not find a solution to political problems in cryptography, but we can win a major battle in the arms race and gain a new territory of freedom.

@markchadwickx These posts contradict themselves. The first one predicts an ATL in October 2026, yet the 2nd post predicts an ATH in 2026.

These posts are still living rent free in my head. They called October 6th with 100% accuracy. They also called QE coming back under a new label. Now the Fed is expanding again… purchases of short duration T-Bills just hit $381B. Almost $60B above the height of the 2020 REPO bank crisis "virus". The post predicts: BTC → $190,000 ETH → $15,000 SOL → $1,000 Then by similar multiples: XRP → $8–$12 HBAR → $0.80–$1.20 LINK → $150–$250 XLM → $1.50–$2.50 Same structure. Same setup. The simulation looks like its about to run it back...

Our new laws to crack down on petrol price gouging have just passed Parliament. We're doubling penalties for companies doing the wrong thing. Because there's no excuse for increasing profits at the expense of Australians.

@Pledditor I went down this path. Eventually you realise that Bitcoin will never be free of graffiti. It’s literally impossible. People claiming that you can remove it are either naive or self serving. Of course Bitcoin would be better as pure (perfect) money, but BIP 110 doesn’t fix that.

Watching the BIP 110 situation unfold has been so tragic and heartbreaking for me to watch. So many of my friends, people I can personally attest are die-hard bitcoiners, became devoured by their own bitcoin maximalism. I know them well. For them, their devotion to Bitcoin has always been intertwined with their own identity and self purpose. Bitcoin represented purity in a flawed world, and owning bitcoin made them feel a sense of righteousness and moral superiority. But a dilemma arose once they discovered bitcoin was actually full of impurities, aka inscriptions, and it led to a severe case of bitcoin derangement. They faced a choice: either accept that the "purity" was always just a mental abstraction they projected onto bitcoin, or double down and delude yourself further into believing the idealized version of bitcoin you had in your head was real, it was just Bitcoin Core v30 was the villain who took it away. Now, living under that delusion, they've positioned themselves as the saviors, fighting to restore a delusion that never actually existed. It's just sad.

@maxkeiser By bots, do you mean the humans performing menial tasks? 🤔

‘Rent A Human’ has 500,000 people signed up for hire by autonomous bots to perform menial tasks. The platform takes no responsibility. Responsibility falls on the bots.
Hedgie@HedgieMarkets

🦔 A platform called RentAHuman now has over 500,000 people signed up to be hired by AI agents. The site lets autonomous bots search, book, and pay humans to carry out physical tasks. Listings include counting pigeons ($30/hour), delivering CBD gummies ($75/hour), and playing exhibition badminton ($100/hour). One bounty saw 7,578 applicants compete to earn $10 for sending an AI agent a video of a human hand. My Take The founder frames this as humans being recognized as valuable assets. I'm not sure I see it that way when thousands of people are competing for $10 gigs posted by bots. There's a labor surplus here that's hard to ignore, with over half a million workers signed up and only 11,000 bounties posted. We covered an AI agent that researched and publicly attacked an open source maintainer for rejecting its code. The same agentic systems that can hire humans for legitimate tasks can split up work in ways nobody anticipated. RethinkX's director of research pointed out that nefarious AIs could distribute a malicious project across multiple tasks for humans to unwittingly collaborate on. The capabilities are expanding faster than anyone's capacity to regulate them, and the platform's terms make clear that operators of AI agents are responsible for their actions, not RentAHuman itself. A lot of people are betting that AI will need human hands for the foreseeable future. I keep wondering what those hands will be asked to do. Hedgie🤗

Bitcoin (orange) has been labeled "weak" since it diverged from the Nasdaq (white). What if it’s the smoke alarm, the only truly free market left? If an AI-driven credit shock is coming, would Bitcoin detect it first? Maybe it’s telling us what centrally planned markets can’t.

The Aus housing market is one I simply cannot figure out, I have tried. All I know is it cannot go on like this forever and will likely be one of the worst housing pops- Expect it to be worse that Japan in the 80s. The bubble is insane, can't see it going on longer than the secular cycle in stocks- So over the next 2-3 years in my view.

“Whether you believe Jesus is God or a good person—there are subtle differences there. There’s a slight rift there.” Jesus was a HORRIBLE person if He wasn’t God but claimed to be Him. Imagine if Mother Theresa had said, “the only way to the Father is through me.” We’d have a hard time not seeing her as an utter crack pot—despite her good deeds. Jesus is either the living God or a dead raving lunatic or a power-hungry and evil man who wanted to lead people away from God and into deception

@GuyTalksFinance It was developed by the Pentagon and released as a mass surveillance tool (like the internet). That doesn’t stop people from building privacy on top of an open protocol (just like the internet). So who cares? The supply is fixed. The protocol is open and decentralised.

Honestly, this is still one of my biggest issues when it comes to Bitcoin. Maybe I’m just not educated enough or believe in too many conspiracy theories, but I don’t think Tucker is 100% wrong for this opinion. What am I missing?
Bitcoin News@BitcoinNewsCom

NEW: Tucker Carlson says he’s a hard "NO" on Bitcoin, claiming it was created by the CIA and calling himself “a gold person.” “I fear it’ll become a scam run by financial elites and politicians to tighten control over society… Nobody can tell me who Satoshi is. I grew up in a CIA family.”
