Right now, Americans are struggling with rising prices on necessities like gas, electricity, and health insurance.    Instead of working to make things more affordable, the administration is trying to take away Americans’ right to vote.

I'm sick and tired of Democrats saying African Americans and married women aren’t smart enough to figure out voting with an ID. This is how radical Democrats have become. Republicans are working hard to get the SAVE America Act to the President’s desk. It is just common sense to ensure only American citizens can vote and use a  a photo ID when they do. Even 70% of Democrats across the country agree. But Senate Democrats are trying to block it.

Our message is clear: Fund TSA. Fund FEMA. Fund the Coast Guard. Pay our federal workers! But not a penny more to ICE.   Republicans are playing games with ICE, refusing even the most basic accountability measures. That’s why we filed legislation this week to get vital programs funded while holding them accountable.   We are not here to play. Not when American lives are on the line.

The SAVE America Act requires proof of citizenship to register to vote and it requires photo ID when you show up to vote. The overwhelming majority of Americans support those provisions. Let’s get this bill passed.

We’re still waiting on the SAVE America Act to be passed. Election integrity is the foundation of American democracy. Without secure elections, we have no democracy at all. If you are an American citizen, you can easily obtain an ID to vote. If you are not an American citizen, you should not be voting. It’s common sense. Voter ID doesn’t prevent voting. It prevents fraud.
