@virginmedia @ofcom @bbc when you try to log a complaint why do your staff say it needs to be closed for it to be escalated? you’ve done nothing the last few days but will be able to fix it after the bank holiday. Wife’s and I data on mobile is used up. Home security is off now

@Boshek6 Hi Boshek,
We can assure you that the issue has been logged, rest assured 😃

@virginmedia intermittent rubbish, its non existent..1st of April for a fix is disgusting,. It’s the DN1 area

English

@virginmedia Absolute joke. Was due to be fixed by 16:04. Then it changed to 17:04. Now it’s changed to another six days. You finally sent a text saying we found the issue. What the hell you been doing since Friday? Enough of this. I want to cancel my account.
English

@virginmedia I do hope it’s logged that I have no broadband at all and haven’t done since Friday. So I’m not charged the full cost. I did call in but I’m dubious they actually logged it

@Boshek6 Hi Boshek,
As mentioned, outage issues can often be very complex which is why they take time to resolve. While the fix date is shown as 1st April, this is only an estimate and subject to change.
Please rest assured we are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible 😃

Hi there, thanks for reaching, we're sorry to see that you've been impacted by an area outage. We can certainly understand the frustration. The times given are estimates only which can change depending on the complexity of the fault. Rest assured the team will be doing all they can to have this resolved ASAP.

@MyDoncaster third day. Bin still not emptied. Maybe should just bring it to the council office and dump
It there. How about a council tax refund?
English

@MyDoncaster i pay my council tax. Bin doesn’t get emptied. They come on street. Empty nobody’s bin and say bin wasn’t presented. Typical gaslighting. On street at 10am according to my CCTV. See if they can be bothered to come back.

NEW: British man has a meltdown at the Hong Kong airport and starts smashing check-in kiosks, gets arrested for having four Viagra pills.
The man was identified as a 35-year-old British tourist.
Because he didn't have a prescription for Viagra, the man is facing up to two years in jail and a $12,800 fine.
"Airport Authority staff and airport security personnel rushed to the scene and warned the man to stop causing further damage," a spokesperson said.
"Police have arrested the man and launched an investigation."
It's unclear what exactly set the man off.
