@shannonrwatts Shannon, how about we go after the ammo? We could start by restricting, regulating, registering and insuring the sale of ammo. There is no constitutional right to ammo. A gun is useless without it. We did it for fertilizer after OKC. We did it for Sudafed. We can do it for this.

This New York Times piece is worth your time. Here’s what is happening, as simply as I can put it. Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago. IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued. The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk. The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit. Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded “anti-weaponization fund.”  Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million. The acting Attorney General, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out. This is the most corrupt thing I’ve ever seen from an American president. Where in the hell are my Republican colleagues? nytimes.com/2026/05/19/adm…

🚨 This afternoon, a former managing assistant U.S. Attorney who supported Jack Smith’s politicized investigation of President Trump has been charged with stealing the confidential investigation documents. Carmen Lineberger allegedly emailed the confidential material to her own personal email, disguising them as dessert recipes to conceal them from record searches. Lineberger is charged with four felony counts in the indictment. This FBI will not hesitate to bring to account those who violated the trust of the American public in an investigation that should’ve never been brought to begin with.

BREAKING In a story bylined by several of The New York Times’ top national security reporters, including Israel-based reporter Ronen Bergman, the Times reveals a quixotic and shocking Israeli-engineered plan to free Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from house arrest and install him as Iran’s leader. An Israeli strike on Ahmadinejad’s home in Tehran was not primarily meant to kill him. It was allegedly designed to kill the IRGC guards holding him under house arrest and free him. The plan apparently went sideways almost immediately. Ahmadinejad survived, but after the “near miss,” he became disillusioned with the regime-change plan. He has not been seen publicly since, and the Times says his current condition and whereabouts are unknown. Ahmadinejad had recently traveled to Guatemala and Hungary — both countries with close ties to Israel. The article also notes that Ahmadinejad had returned from Budapest just days before Israel began attacking Iran the previous June, and that once the war broke out, he kept a strangely low profile for someone who had spent years presenting Israel as Iran’s central enemy. December 6, 2018. Two things happen on the same morning. In Manhattan, FBI agents open a new case file. Target: Jeffrey Epstein. Charge: Federal trafficking investigation. That same morning, 1,500 miles south on his private island, someone clicks "authorize payment." Six 55-gallon drums. Industrial sulfuric acid. 330 gallons total. Sulfuric acid cleans water systems. Epstein's island had a desalination plant. The invoice makes sense. Except for three problems. Problem one: A typical water plant uses 5 to 20 gallons per year. Epstein ordered 330 gallons. Enough for 15 years—or something else entirely. Problem two: The timing. Same morning. Same hour. The FBI opens the case at 10:15 a.m. Eastern. The wire transfer goes through at 9:47 a.m. Caribbean time. Problem three: What sulfuric acid is known for. In 1996, a 12-year-old boy in Sicily was taken by the Mafia as punishment for his father's testimony. After 779 days, he was killed. His body was never found. Because it no longer existed. The Italians call it "lupara bianca"—the vanishing. No body. No grave. No evidence. Just an empty space where someone used to be. Epstein's island was raided multiple times after his 2019 arrest. Agents seized computers, flight logs, financial records. They found many things. But there's one document in the newly released files that doesn't match any of the others. It's dated December 5, 2018—one day before the acid order. Only three people knew what it said. Two are dead. The third has never been asked. Detail below.

Trump’s endorsement of Paxton should put to rest the fantasy Trump cares about the GOP as a whole. What he cares more about is building a party that’s loyal to him, not building or sustaining a party that can win. There’s a HUGE difference which is why he regularly endorses the more flawed candidate as they’ll always be more loyal.

I have worked closely with President Trump through both of his Presidential terms and voted with him more than 99% of the time. He has consistently called me a friend in this race. It is now time for Texas Republican voters to decide if they want a strong nominee to help our GOP candidates down ballot and defeat Talarico in November, or a weak nominee who jeopardizes everything we care about. I trust the Republican voters of Texas.
