We went to Darling Powerline again with our @Cybertrucks - with @BrianASilver3 and Gord.
This was a super fun day - lots of time to play, try new stuff out, and hang out and have some fun.
2 deep water crossings near the end are the big feature!

Milestone in Humanoid Robotics: A Thousand Humanoid Sorters Entering Logistics Centers Beijing-based RobotEra is deploying its L7 humanoid robot across more than 10 logistics centers operated by China Post, SF Express Group, and other major players. In several of these centers, the embodied AI robots have already reached over 85% of human-level efficiency while operating stably 24/7. The company is set to begin batch deliveries of robots at the thousand-unit scale in Q2 this year. RobotEra recently raised $200 million in funding. By combining external capital with self-generated revenue, it is accelerating the real-world deployment of humanoid robots. I wonder what UPS would think if they saw this solution? Rumors have been circulating recently that they intend to deploy Figure's humanoid robots in their logistics centers.

I visited Solar & Storage Live in London today. Two major takeaways: (1) We are starting to see substantial substitution from Cu->Al in med voltage cables; (2) There are some really interesting solutions coming to market. One that caught my eye is ESS for EV charging which means that you can fast charge multiple EVs using BESS without the need for costly and time-consuming grid alterations.

This is an awesome hack!!!
But with this air suspension available, I still wish @Tesla could figure out a way to have a tire change mode where it lifts 3 wheels and leaves one dangling. It’s got the center of gravity for it! @wmorrill3 is this possible?

Change a tire in the sticks with NO JACK. drive to flat place, raise suspension to very high, place a 9.5 x6x6 stud under the A arm of the flat tire, set truck to Low suspension, tire will lift off the ground. Change tire, set to Extract Mode, remove the Stud .. 20 minutes...😁

@ManlyMarshall @Tryangle @Tesla @wmorrill3 I've done this the other way, lift to high/extract. Dump/deflate the corner to change and the opposit corner in Service Mode. Takes very little force to lift the corner to change the tire. Especially if you lift under the suspension rather than from the chassis lift point.

@Tryangle @Tesla @wmorrill3 But I just had an idea. Let's say you want to change out the right rear tire. Drop the truck to Entry mode. Then in service mode, disable auto leveling, then the max out the left rear and right front and the truck should teeter and hold the right rear and front left up...

Finally got the Pentaprism for @cybertruck done! It allows the use of FSD with the tailgate down when needed! Pretty simple build and works well! I had to have the file modified due to the rear camera washer being installed on my truck from @Clearvucam .
