Unregistered, unlicensed e-bikes and mopeds with no plates will still speed, run red lights, hit people and flee the scene with no accountability.

@NYSenatorFelder The vast majority of ebikes are capped at 20 or 28 MPH. Drivers do not get ticketed in 20mph zones until they are going 30mph, and can strike and kill pedestrians without even getting a ticket. 100% shut down the shops selling illegal mopeds, but let’s focus on the real issues

@Uber and @Uber_Support, since you got rid of literally all customer support for riders, I am putting you on blast here: Yesterday, I had an extremely unprofessional driver show up and then refuse to take me, forcing me to wait 20 minutes for the next driver (who was great).

There was nowhere in the app to give the driver a poor rating or to report them, and there's no way to get human customer support, so here I am on social media

The first driver gave some nonsense about me needing an uberXL just because I had some sporting equipment, even though I was alone and there was plenty of room for the gear.
