I wrote “Ice Cold Heart” out of heartbreak over the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and over how easily people can be dehumanized by lies filtered through political bias. ICE Seattle arrested illegal alien Alfonso Guevara-Marquez, 23, of Mexico, near Wenatchee. His criminal history includes arrest for rape of a child; felony conviction for assault, and communication w/ minor for immoral purposes. Awaiting return to Mexico at NWIPC.

Trump is pushing to weaponize the IRS into his lawless immigration dragnet.
Intimidating immigrants who pay $60B in federal taxes every year – to fund the benefits they aren’t even eligible to receive – will only threaten the nation’s fiscal health.
Last year, I led the initial oversight to block him from sending taxpayer data to ICE. We won in court then and will continue to fight any attempts to demonize our immigrant communities.

North Texas seems to have a serious H1B Visa fraud scam going. One immigration attorney brought in over 700K H1Bs in 2025 alone.
