If your argument is that elections are incapable of effecting change, then it's illogical to suggest that Chamisa should identify the next popular leader. Instead, the focus should be on finding a leader who can effectively dismantle the deep state. In that case, Chamisa's involvement is irrelevant and there is no Chimuti for him to pass. Conversely, if you believe that a popular leader is necessary to drive change, then Chamisa is the obvious choice. Ultimately, the choice is yours: either acknowledge Chamisa's potential or abandon the notion that popularity is a prerequisite for leadership. Given however, that your discourse is steeped in dishonesty, you won’t see all this.

🟣DAY 66. It’s been over 9 weeks since that horrific Sunday when any imagination of the right to free association, free assembly, free expression and privacy were torn to shreds by the State in an unprecedented invasion of the home of a former Parliamentarian and Senate representative, @JamesonTimba. His crime was to allow young people to use his home to have a braai commemorating the Soweto Uprising. The punishment was the unlawful tear-gassing of his private residence which was stormed by multiple water canons and armed police who beat and tortured his guests to a pulp. They had no arrests or search warrants. Public order laws do not apply because it was not a public meeting. No law says one must seek police permission to host a private barbecue at home. The continued unconstitutional detention without trial of Senator @JamesonTimba and the #Avondale78 is a shameless example of the continued weaponisation of the legal system by ZANU PF to silence opponents. It’s not a crime to allow young people to have a private barbecue at your private residence to commemorate the Soweto Uprising. Bail is a constitutional entitlement. They have not committed any crime but even if they had, they’d be entitled to the presumption of innocence and to be tried while residing at home. Freedom of assembly, freedom of expression, freedom of conscience and the right to liberty are constitutionally-protected. We must all speak out against this affront to our Constitution. We’ve seen this script over and over and it’s the best evidence of a regime that’s declared war on its people. Is this the liberation that our forefathers and mothers died for? Why use colonial tactics against the very people for whom a war of freedom was fought? Why deem any person who disagrees a “dissident”? The jailed young people should be in work, studying or making a living for their families yet they’re caged up in intolerable conditions because those at the top are afraid of shadows. Everyone of these political prisoners is innocent. Every progressive Zimbabwean has a duty to speak out until they’re freed. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

THE STRUGGLE FOR A NEW GREAT ZIMBABWE- WHERE WE ARE… It has not been easy to stand for right, truth and the authentic alternative. I can understand the struggle fatigue. It has been a long, rough and tough journey, #traveled fighting brutality and oppression. Struggles are never easy. It is a struggle- and it is not instant coffee or a walk in the park! 1. Over time, a lot happens. Some fall by the wayside, some go offside yet very few remain onside and inside!! 2. Some get genuinely tired, exhausted and or get too old, yet can’t let go. 3. Some are disappointed, depressed and frustrated at the delay in quick results. 4.Some may resort to finger pointing and blame game as a post-election dissonance and frustration coping mechanism. 5.Some are pretenders, infiltrators and establishment collaborators who play for the other team. And they often shout and caricature the loudest. 6. Some admire the opportunities offered by occupying office and being in government-as President, Minister, MPs, Councillors or public service. 7. Some are content with benefits and privileges of power and position as opposition for life. 8. Some are in it for survival and employment escaping poverty and never for service, change and leaving a legacy. 9. Some seek short cuts decide that if we can’t beat them join them-so joining the gravy train becomes the easy answer! 10. Some choose to disengage and pursue personal goals, interests and business as private citizens. 11. Some are perennial skeptics and perpetual cynics and armchair critics. The naysayers and doomsayers. These are a mortal danger to a people struggle for a better world. 12. Some fight to the bitter end! These few are in it for the long haul, for service and for Zimbabwe and its people AND I am proud to belong to this category. The Struggles the world over and since time immemorial, are always laced with multiple sorrows and discomforts but ultimately victory kicks in. All this suffering is not in vain. We can’t go through all this pain not to receive our gain and victory in due time!! #NewDawn #Godisinit

🟣Dear @nickmangwana, Why are public elected officials being forced to take @ZANUPF_Official “ideology” training? Can you not see that this is unconstitutional? Not that you care. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

These young and progressive individuals desire a better Zimbabwe for themselves and future generations. They were recently forcibly removed from an aircraft at Robert Mugabe International Airport, despite being scheduled to attend a workshop in Victoria Falls. Subsequently, they were tortured for over 8 hours before being handed over to police custody, where they were slapped with trumped-up charges of incitement to violence. As Zanu PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa recently revealed, they are innocent but are being persecuted based on speculative grounds that they intended to disturb the recently concluded SADC Summit through peaceful demonstrations. They are currently languishing in prison on false charges. Let's continue to demand their release.

HERBERT CHITEPO-BRILLIANCE AND ELOQUENCE PERSONIFIED..Clarity was his natural frequency. He was a man of deep intellect and integrity-wired to lead. Something was unique about his heart, he resonated authentic. He was genuine! For him, it was never about money or business deals for personal aggrandizement. And politics was never an arena for primitive wealth accumulation . But then the world is so wicked and cruel. Wickedness, in habit, assassinates brilliance. Mediocrity perennially assaults excellence!

KNOWING WHAT SHALL BE IN THE LATTER DAYS…‘But there is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets and mysteries.’ Daniel 2:28 This one God, Our #Godisinit is in heaven, Our Father is the presiding authority over the entire universe, presides over all nations, all persons and things on earth; and to Him alone belongs the glory and revelation of secrets, and not to necromancers, heathen gods, or to any magician or witch doctor. @nelsonchamisa will not speak because you want him to! He will only speak when he sees it fit. As long as it is not yet the right time to say a word, he will remain quiet! His silence should never bother anyone who cares like us! He is just managing the situation in silence

CCC ON ‘AUTOPILOT’ AMID WIDENING CRACKS @NewsDayZimbabwe 27 December 2023 Today’s @NewsDayZimbabwe leads with a story that Nelson Chamisa’s party is “on ‘autopilot’ amid widening cracks”. According to the story: “Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa has seemingly left the party on autopilot amid widening divisions with senior members. This comes as ordinary members are increasingly disillusioned with Chamisa's leadership style. The fissures within the CCC were on full display during the election of Harare mayor Jacob Mafume last week defied Councillors Chamisa's directive to vote for Elvis Ruzani for Harare mayor indicating a lack of trust and cohesion within the party CCC deputy spokesperson Gift "Ostallos” Siziba confirmed that an internal meeting had selected Ruzani as the next Harare mayor.” x.com/cde_ostallos/s… COMMENT: In this case, the apt synonym for ‘autopilot’ is 'structureless'. Of course, all of this was foreseen from day one, after Chamisa attempted an internal coup by unilaterally embarking on a solo quest to dissolve the structures of the MDC-Alliance - that he led between June 2019 and 22 January 2022 - whose structures were the foundation of CCC as it was unveiled on 24 January 2022. When Chamisa's folly of seeking to have a structureless CCC was pointed out upfront on this TL, his sycophantic and ever loquacious political acolytes, media mouthpieces and social media influencers fell on each other, as they ridiculously competed to see who among them would come up with the most insulting ad hominem response. They insanely claimed that it was innovative and refreshing for Chamisa’s party to be structureless, and alleged that a “structureless strategy” would protect the party from infiltration by ZanuPF. Now the chickens have come home to roost. It’s a no-brainer that 'structure' is a sine qua non of political parties. Any political party without a proper structure is bound to fall on autopilot!
